It's Time to Put The Controller Down...

When you are more concerned about drops than actual gameplay...

This game went from fun, to grind fest, to glitching your way to rewards in a short span of time. I have never witnessed the amount of glitching that goes on this game on any other game. The problem with this is that the people who glitch get a ridiculous advantage over you on the broken PVP system, and you end up dead within seconds without the ability to retaliate, all because a player glitched their way to success. It gets to the point that you either glitch, or get left behind. It's ridiculous really... Most players are just sitting on a glitch hoping to get top tier gear rather than actually playing the game...

It's sad to see a game that held so much promise turn into this...

The only way that this game can be fun again is by resetting everybody's gear to the same level, but that will never happen.

    Gear for gears sake...

Because the glitchers need to get their gearscores up to get into groups for the next glitched content. They sure as f'ck don't need it for competitive pvp because Division doesn't have any.

I admit the campaign was fun and doing my first few challenges (till I found out it only had 4), likewise dz was fun in short sessions. But the last few weeks have been like walking through treacle backwards, game breaking bugs stopping me playing for weeks, map flaws, RNGesus frowning on me, glitchers getting a months worth of gear in a night.

Yeah I understand that, which is why I'm just going to play something else in the mean time. The game has some potential, but all it has to offer for the time being is a 20 minute glitch for goods and I don't find that entertaining.

That was basically my point though, if all there is to do is glitch, then it's time to play something else. Playing "Legit" is not worth it at this point, the NPC's destroy you in mere seconds unless you get the gear that THEY drop.

Glitching for content is just cheating yourself. It should be satisfaction rewards when you manage to get an item. When you shortcut to all the best kit you remove the gameplay that is supposed to be the FUN part of the game. Are all these glitchers forgetting that gaming is supposed to be about enjoyment rather than "Look at me, I have all the best gear!".

If I have all the best kit in the game I want others to say "Hey that's awesome, man!"... not "You cheating Moth**f*****r!"

There's one problem with that mentality. The amount of RNG involved. They didn't have to make golds rain from the sky, because lets face it ninety-nine percent of them are utter garbage. They need to make armor values, damage, and stats such as resists and crit a static element. Only make the talents RNG dependent. Then the hike in crafting costs and small drop chance of Gold items would have worked. Even with the exploits you still have to pray to every God in existence just to get something decent, let alone something you need to progress your character and push into harder content.

The mentality is entitlement and impatiens. People don't want to work for the gear they want it the Ez way. Of my 6 hard incursion missions I can use 4 of the pieces, the other 2 were tacticians which I don't use and one striker which is in the stash ATM. It's making the best of the situation IMO. I do agree with the hike in crafting tho. I shouldn't have to get a full extraction of 9 items to make one item.

i haven't glitched the incursion and i can say that it doesnt put me at much of a disadvantage. once i saw the legit way to do it hard it wasn't that difficult with a team of 4. challenge is impossible the legit way, but i didn't expect to get that gear right away anyway. but i have taken about 4 gear set pieces out of the DZ. and i haven't seen the people who did glitch ruin the DZ like others claim..

i run solo a lot in the DZ, before and after the patch. i still have just as much success in the DZ with all the changes even with the people who have 200+ gear scores. I'm still bout 180 gear score and i still find a reason to play this game legit. thats just me though. i figure there are lots of people like me who just play the game for fun and not just for glitching

Same here. I'm 180gs and our group hasnt used the exploit nor have we ran into any issues in the dz. People get ganked and yell exploiter in exploited gear. I gotta write a forum post. Most are just full of p*ss and wind.

What I find entertaining is that people get their first set piece they put it on and they go up in a higher bracket and get pissed because they got killed by someone in a full set.

I already put my controller down in its box, cause i prefer using mouse and keyboard to play the game.
