But they are in the game. None of the exploits have required any third party software or client manipulation to perform. All have been done using game mechanics, therefore they are "in the game". I'm not condoning them, but you are incorrect.

The raid isn't hard, it's just tedious, annoying, and not fun in the slightest.

Nothing to do with the thread - but love your signature. Two amazing games. Especially Valiant Hearts.

The worst thing still have to be the "recommended gear score 160" text on the mission...

That absolutely not true what you say OP.

People use exploit because that easy and faster, that it.

The incursion in hard mod is not that hard. But if only player was willing to learn how do it, learn how play as a team ... They will see incursion are easier and fast when play normaly than use the exploit.

And for God sake, when you group for do Falcon Lost, don't leave the group on the first fail !!! if you see the team do it wrong help them to do it right. So many player come and just hope it will be done fast with no effort on the first try. The result is it take forver to find a group that can finish it, just because player are lazy.

PS i finish the first time the hard mod with a group with a GS around 150, it toke use many try but they were willing to finish it and to learn how do it correctly.

At least mmo games have mechanics. Everything in this game is a dps check. You either have the dps or you don't. That doesn't make for fun game play.

With all of the abilities they give us at no point do they require a team to figure out a certain load out to get past anything.

It's just stun shotgun rushers and hope you can dps them down quick enough and then proceed. That's boring.

I mean I know this is "free" content but damn is this incursion lackluster. Stand in a room and proceed to kill waves of enemies. Is this the quality of work you expect from a game like this? It's pathetic.

So now you wanna punish the exploiters for something that was in the game, but you couldn't find it first. The problem here is so many people actually exploited/glitched, you would punish a huge amount of your player base. The reason why people are looking for new exploits is the difficulty of the Incursion itself.

It's nearly impossible to complete the Incursion with random matchmaking or a random group, because most people don't have 200k DPS and 100K health. The enemies were on lvl 31 on hard on your stream, a few days before the release (https://www.twitch.tv/thedivisiongame/v/58575487). I don't know why you felt like making this much more difficult by increasing the enemy lvl's on hard & challenge on the last minute. You should get some decent testers before you throw something at the player base that would avoid more people from looking for exploits.

Edit: My suggestion is add at least checkpoints to the Incursion.
That may be for you, but not for me. So please, don't speak for me. Some people have bad luck and are tired of getting ****ty gear, others are fed up with the bugs and other glitches. Some people just want to. Everyone has their own reasons. whether rational or not.

there are two reasons why people are exploiting.....

    a) Because there is no apparent penalty for cheating in the game (Ubisoft/Massive are to blame here!)
    b) Because people expect to be given everything for free without having to work for it (society is the blame here!)

There are always going to be bugs and glitches and exploits and unless the exploiters get punished then that'll only increase in numbers. Certainly Ubi/Massive should work a lot harder at removing these glitches AND the temptation to use the (bans!).

The blame is 50/50 between the developers and the community (or at least the members of the community using the exploits). My biggest issue with this is the fact that the DZ ends up with a large disparity between in gear levels between exploiters and non-exploiters. Even if new exploiters get banned there's still all those who have had major benefits from past exploits. This is the one thing Ubi/Massive need to sort out.

    tl;dr:
    a) Ubi/Massive should have resolved this much much quicker.
    b) Exploiting is unacceptable no matter your reasoning.
Yes if the dev team expected to give free challenge to the top 10% please expect only the top 10% will keep playing. Content is not equal to challenge what a foul.....EVERY player except new content is for everyone (neither geared up or not),
