Raw Video: I wipe a few times, full run starts at 9 minutes in. I'll have a commentary discussing my loadout up shortly, along with a shortened video that skips most of the boring part.
My gear is a few crafted 214s, one 240 that I got from my weekly Challenge run, praise the sun, and a few pieces of gear I've found helping my friends out with Hard. Before anyone goes "ZOMG ELECTRONICS BUILD DEF SPLOITER" I'd like to point at my pre- 1.1 patch videos where I was also running electronics, so I did not FOTM into this build.Rundown of my strategy: 1. Kill the first 4 waves and plant the C4. Run like hell from all the missiles. 2. Hide in the pit at Wave 5, whittle down the snipers until there's only ~3. Leave a grenadier too, just in case. 3. Fire sticky bombs at the APC without getting turret stunned, missiled, or sniped by the snipers I've left alive. Not very hard to do once, but stress-wise, hard to do consistently over the period of an hour. The reason I need to get to Wave 5 is after studying of the wave mechanic. If at any time there are two or fewer enemies on the field, the next wave triggers automatically. So, leaving 3 - 4 enemies is ideal. I initially tried doing this on Wave 1, which has 4 Shotgunners and 4 Riflemen, but 3 Riflemen in a group are super-aggressive and forced me to constantly relocate and wipe. So my idea was to use the snipers, who never come down from the upper rafter on the left side, as my wave holders. The grenadier after I tried to kill him I got almost nuked by a turret, so I let him be, and it seems to have gone okay. Screencaps from the raw video. I'll also render a video that significantly reduces the time of the boring sticky bomb segment.

I honestly hope a decent set of 4 players would go much faster using C4 than this. I mean, if you can push to Wave 5 as a team, you can definitely push to Wave 15 as a team.Originally Posted by Tannenhouser Go to original post

Currently rendering the video. The video will be posted once it's rendered. I will also upload a nice raw video I guess. Before anyone goes "ZOMG ELECTRONICS BUILD DEF SPLOITER" I'd like to point at my pre- 1.1 patch videos where I was also running electronics, so I did not FOTM into this build:
No one ever said that, not the dev's not anyone. The glitch was not even having the mission start. He starts the mission, he just glitches...the 5th...wave...oh yeah I see where your going.Originally Posted by BBQ-Nariquo Go to original post
If serious: go step on lego'sOriginally Posted by BBQ-Nariquo Go to original post
If the APC was not intended to be damaged by sticky bombs then they would have removed the APC being damaged by them...especially after the exploit.
