Ubisoft community manager Natchai Stappers has revealed those who have knowingly exploited its first Incursion, called Falcon Lost, will be met with some kind of punishment for doing so.
“Obviously it is against our Code of Conduct and the team is looking into what can be done in terms of punishment for those who have exploited,” Stappers writes in the official forums for The Division.
As of now, those who have hacked The Division in other ways have received a 3-day ban with no other form of punishment, such as a wipe of a player’s stats. Considering that kind of punishment for hackers, we wouldn’t think Ubisoft would punish those who knowingly glitch the Falcon Lost incursion any worse than a few days ban from playing The Division.
so is ubi saying people glitching are worse than hackers.....
Honestly I don't even see how they could find out. I doubt they have the necessary logging in place to query for abusers. They'd have to have instance logging by character with the number of mobs killed......given everything else wrong with this game I guarantee you they don't have that data.
Hahaha.
Yups. Sure. After the company glorifying exploiters and using video's and pictures in their commercial correspondence and on their official website...their continued inability to deliver exploit free content finally caught up with them and now they feel the need to hide their incompetence by saying they are "on it"
Sorry. But banning exploiters or rolling back accounts or any other form of punishment will not detract from the fact that huge incompetence was exposed. Nor does it make up for the fact the game is riddled with glitches, bugs, game breaking bugs and exploits....and that their game concept and how they marketed it simply does not appeal enough to people to not circumvent the central elements of the game.
What they are doing is panicking and damage control....and hoping they will get away with it
They have sold an alpha for triple A prices. Players should not stand for that.
^This. I can gurantee alot less people would be doing the exploits if your end game/loot system was actually rewarding instead of this endless RNG stacked upon RNG...Originally Posted by iuki334 Go to original post
HAHAH. They could ban you for any reason they wanted and you wouldn't have a leg to stand on. You think you could take them to court? I double dog dare you. A real lawyer would laugh at you. A judge would throw his gavel at you.Originally Posted by DGunzUSVET Go to original post
Lol they don't know what direction they want to go in. First they celebrate exploiters:

Now they claim they'll take action against them?![]()
They are a foreign entity doing business in the United States. If you don't understand how domestic protectionist policies work, then perhaps you shouldn't comment like you do. You just end up looking foolish.Originally Posted by Arsenic_Touch Go to original post
