@IT-maciello: The translations weren't necessary, but thanks anyway, I was gonna guess on the translations on a few more of those tracks, but I was just wasting time, although it's still interesting to know some of the tracks in another language...![]()
@ whoever is reading this: So to avoid any further complications: Try to beat the faulted run by beating both the faults and the time as well, or you might be in that same pickle! It means I will try to avoid this as well, on Traction Testground, Widowmaker and Woodwork Conclave as well, (GULP!)But also consider beating the run again if you do encounter the same problem, so that you have fixed the problem before it gets worse, but I'm not 100% sure about whether it is the same problem that you have, or if it is a problem at all and if the method mentioned previously is a problem solver, but it seems to work in theory... And also consider the fact if you beat the time that you have, you probably will get any score but it does depend on the faults and time (but specifically and mainly faultless runs, I would imagine...) but you almost certainly won't go into this problem, but don't consider it if you are getting the points...
I did that just to see what would happen, and it worked fine for me.for example I'm seeing you have Traction Testground , 3 faults, 46.225sec, now you should know that if you run that track in 47sec making 0/1/2 fault, you could fall into the bug i had
Just tried Leaping Hollow with Donkey
Silver is at 1x37
My Donkey LB points before were 136264150
1) I got 2x37.632 and made zero points
2) I got 1x37.331 and made 16612 points (new LB=136280812)
(that was faster time and less faults)
Spoiler: Show
3) I got 0x37.474 and made 98098 points(new LB=136378910)
So I also made points even with a slower time, by getting less faults. This should have been where your bug would start.
Spoiler: Show
4) I got 0x37.177 and made 3985 points (new LB=136382895)
Slightly faster than all times before and didnt get much, as expected. But getting anything at all means I didnt get the bug, right?
Spoiler: Show
5) I got 0x25.711 (Plat) and made 317412(new LB=136700307)
Spoiler: Show
Total points on the Donkey track: 436157
That is way too low! It should be 750K minimum; these newer tracks give less for the donkey.
But I did not seem to have any issues with scoring by getting a slower time with fewer faults.
@DylanDeMorte: This is why I wasn't 100% sure that this was a bug, because you clearly experimented with this method on Leaping Hollows, and you have got the points and you didn't get the bug, that's why I wasn't sure, and maybe I was thinking it wasn't a bug at all maybe it's a different issue altogether but then why would IT-maciello get no points as he did literally the same thing, which is beyond me, maybe it isn't a bug, maybe it is but I dunno I'm afraid, but IT-maciello did come across something... Now I'm not sure what to advise to anyone...
@ especially to DylanDeMorte: Check the 8th or 9th post on this thread, I have made some sort of scoring theory for the Donkey, and yes we should be entitled to 800K+ pts on each track, but that's why our Donkey scores are lower in general than our Global LB scores I'm afraid, and you got points for doing a time with 37.331 seconds and 1 fault? Interesting, that the fact that we can get score with that run intrigues me. Maybe a score threshold is 1 fault, 37.5 seconds?
What's interesting is that I did Widowmaker for the 1st time with the Donkey, and got a time of 49.077 seconds, and NO faults! Which was so cool...But what was more interesting was the fact that I avoided the 'possible' bug by doing a faultless time AND I got points for it, which is far more unexpected, and I've got 30,000 pts, maybe because it's a long and incredibly tricky run?!? And it was a Bronze medal time...
But that was a sweet moment, though, I never thought I'd do Widowmaker faultless so quickly and avoid the bug as well... If it is one, but still...
Thats still going on? I had just assumed they had fixed it by now, but I guess not. These were some old posts were we talked about it:What's more weird is the scoring on the PvP tracks, and they give you 3 million on Hill Climb and Bunnyhop, and 1 million on Sine City, I dunno what that's about, but that's considerably more generous

Back when RL messed up the Donkley/Crazy LB to give no points at all for the Ferry tracks... I thought that I was just unfortunate to get such low points on them with Donkey after they fixed it. But after confirmations by multiple people on here that some Donkey Ferry tracks really do give consistent low points....its just means RL stll hasnt gotten it quite right, and just messed them up differently this time. (sigh)
In all cases the traditional bikes have continued to give traditional scoring for plat and above (750K+). There is no logical reason for them to score different tracks differently for some bikes versus others; these are all bugs, IMO. (Some just more favorable to us than others)Its more confusion on top of the various other occasional scoring bugs we all get from time to time.... Hope they get them fixed/consistent, and get all the LBs recalculated someday.
Congrats on a 0-fault Donkey for Widowmaker; its an accomplishment at any reasonable time. But that was a sweet moment, though, I never thought I'd do Widowmaker faultless so quickly and avoid the bug as well... If it is one, but still..I am just about finished beating down my other neglected Donkey scores into a reasonable ranking and ready to try that one again (have 3 faults at the moment). . . .
About faults...if there are scoring bugs possibly related to faults, it just makes sense to never do faults. Not so easy to do on Widowmaker, etc but still on most tracks its not hard at all. Its the best way to approach any track, IMO, and for new tracks I think I'll make more of an effort to always do that.
It was ALL of the the tracks in both the latest Challenge Track Packs (12 total) BUT after reading through all the rest of the posts here I feel it's going to be that most of the runs I done had faults on them, although I remember getting a few Gold runs with only a couple of faults and I still didn't receive any points.....This is what made me think that there might be something wrong with the scoring on the Challenge Packs as I didn't think there was any sort of threshold, I thought we got points for completing any run as long as we improved our times.Originally Posted by HeaverBeaver115 Go to original post
Anyway, Many Thanks for ALL the replies as I'm pretty sure that this will be the problem, I'll have another blast on all of those tracks to improve my times and do my best NOT to fault this time !!
Much appreciated.....Cheers !!![]()
@xitooner: It's not just the Ferry tracks, it's those particularly long tracks where it would take you some time to complete, Chilled Cliffs, The Tanktops, Urban Jungle to name a few... So on those long tracks, it wouldn't give you 750K/800K pts, despite the fact that we should be getting that anyway... I have an odd feeling it's between 20 and 22 seconds where you would get the normal 750K/800K, and if a time is below that, we would get the normal score, hence I mentioned previously that the 1st 3 Ferry tracks gave me at least 800K pts, and if it's above that, then we wouldn't get the normal amount required which is the Donkey scoring is based on, the 5 other Ferry tracks didn't give me the 800K pts. But the 800K for a platinum should have been considerable at least... So every long or long-ish track with the Donkey won't give you the 800K pts required, so accumulatively and mathematically, I'm not sure HOW many points behind we are on the Donkey LBs then the Global LBs, but probably at least 10 million points? But we will always be constantly be behind score-wise, but as much as I would love for RL do to a whole recalculation of the scoring system, I just don't think it will happen. I could be wrong though... But it could make our lives a lot easier, and it would be a load off of not having a thing like this to worry about.
Apparently, The Cave gave you 3 million as well?!? I don't remember that, I did read the threads, although I've never received a notification for any of the 3 PvP tracks, it's annoying how a PvP track can be accessed via the Bunker only... But c'est la vie...
And yep, I still need to get Hill Climb w/ Donkey, so if I do that, that's another 3 million for me, but it's odd how that's scored... And thanks btw for the compliment on Widowmaker, according to Bonxy's site, I'm the 6th person to do that faultless on both Android & iOS, yay! What's odd is I'm 3rd on that site, but I'm actually 5th?!? Rankings on there isn't quite accurate, because I'm ahead of some people on iOS despite having a slower time, but the site is very useful, and how Bonxy managed to do such a good job and to fix, improve and to add something in such a short time is quite impressive!
@ Bonxy, if you are reading this, excellent job, keep up the good work!
@ FatalDragon: Even with a couple of faults, I doubt you would have scored that much anyway, but keep trying, and get them faultless in order to get some points! And as far I know, I think you weren't quick enough to obtain points, that it, I hope... But I doubt it is a bug though... But good luck!
@ IT-maciello: I somehow think that you were just extremely unlucky, but if the same bug happens, you know what to do...![]()
@DylanDeMorte
Thanks for your efforts, nice to know that is not a 'serial' bug that affects all players on all tracks
Maybe i was just unlucky as HeaverBeaver said, would be nice to get an opinion from Ubi as well...
@ IT-maciello: I really don't know what you've encountered here, and maybe this 'unknown bug' will still trigger on occasion, and maybe only a handful of people have got it so it's not a potentially problematic bug, but a bug is still a bug and if you've still got it, but again just unlucky I think, so again, sorry about that, but if it makes you feel any better, I have a similar bug for me on the Global LB, wherever it's the same sort of bug or whether it's something totally different is relatively unknown...
So I would also like a second opinion from anybody...
Too lateOriginally Posted by HeaverBeaver115 Go to original postI just realized that I joined the club,... with Traction Testground I guess....;( anybody installed the new update from today? maybe the problem is fixed...
