    the perfect honeypot.

I just think they didn't expect this level of abuse.. it would cause a few discusions.. when over half the playerbase (it seems) has broken the ToS.. what do you do that keeps the corporate heads happy... hey rock.. meet hard place..

I'd start at the core of the problem, those with enough evidence.. provided by themselves.. for a right spanking.. i'd call up utube & twitch management and have a official discussion on how one can help the other.. set a example for all those that follow.. let the exploiters sweat for a bit.. watch the numbers closley.. take action on those that didn't listen to kind words and crapped on your IP like it was yesterdays newspaper.

    But.. that's just me..
Incorect. You get 4 parts 240 legit. Anything above that is an exploit - from simple bad coding ( aka the guy making the instance havent done it on that character ) to the ilogical - 3 people alt+f4.

Ive played many games with third party mods, and at first I thought thats what was going on. After reading many a heated discussion, I now realize that is not the same thing.

But now Im reading that you consider your faulty code to be on US, as players? Am I to be punished for using a mask that regens constantly having no idea why for the first day? What about the reckless talent? Or running on the side of a mission area to avoid mobs? Likewise, using nothing but the code you wrote and the ****ty collision detection on walls and doors is tantamount to getting infinite lives in Super Mario Bros by timing a jump on a turtle shell right. If you code something in a half-assed way or refuse to remove the mobile-glitch-cover, then force an in-game pop up that players must acknowledge about using exploits. Then EVERYONE is on notice and the punishments you decide on will be fair.

This guy says it much more eloquently:

You sound like one of the thousands who flocked to the incursion to glitch it but are now worried about a ban/rollback or whatever punishment. Unfortunately a bunch of my friends are in this boat as well, but I never entered that Challenging Incursion once in the glitched manor. All I hear is excuses when people talk about is the developers fault for allowing it to happen. This is (and please note I am a born and raised American) precisely the mentality that has s*** America directly down the tubes. Lets blame and sue everyone else for our own mistakes. How about play the game as intended like a lot of us did?

I pray Ubi has the guts to do what Diablo did - Perma ban those who advertised it. 3 day/rollback those who exploited it to their own benefit. Its the only way to reward those of us who actually had the balls not to do the glitch because we love the game for what it is. Yes it has its quirks and fixes needed, but what game doesn't? Dont like it? Play something else as so many suggest. Dont become as good as the outright hackers by ruining the game for those of us who choose to play legit.

To be specific, I havent done it on challenge only because it was such a pain in the *** on hard. I couldnt imagine sitting there for almost two hours just sticky bombing the APC. My gripe lies with an Ubi rep talking about consequences for violating a CoC that no one even knew existed until a few days ago. If youre banning for the incursion glitch, then police academy also? What about lincoln tunnel by skipping mobs? Rehab? Reckless? The range of glitches is like a continuum, but you cant say "oh NOW we're going to enforce the CoC you never actually agreed to, and that we just so happened to fix the link for on our webpage" in reaction to the players exploiting another **** up on your (the devs) part. And how does Ubi ban advertisers? Like if they had their username in a video? How is their posting it worse than someone using it? And on top of all this, it wouldnt be nearly as messed up as it is if their OWN PLAYERS from Ubi hadnt been using exploits and glitches in their own gaming sessions. Extra medkits, glitching into non-playable areas to run out rogue timers? "Do as i say, not as i do." If you twitch yourself glitching, how could you have any sort of expectation that players wouldnt, as well? This is pure rediculousness, plain and simple.

Yes, deactivate it... Get rid of it all together for all I care. It's so boring anyway. I'm glad someone found a way to glitch this piece of crap. WOW!!!. it's so exciting to sit in a big room and fight wave after wave. And what's your reward?... A piece of crap gear set that probably isn't better then the high end gear I already have. I wouldn't even waste the 45 minutes it takes to glitch this incursion. And I'm definitely not wasting hours completing it legit.

I did like most of everything else that came out in the 1.1 though. This game is still the best game I've ever played, I just wish the incursion was a little more exciting and hope the next one won't be as lame as this one.

Nothing will happen. Like in the past. Have your community developer celebrate past exploits on twitter shows your real agenda.
This game encourages exploiters and people that do not exploit get "rewarded" with increased resource costs, tailored to the broken economy.
Suspend the exploiters for what 3 days, while legit players have to play for weeks to farm an equivalent amount the exploiters got in a day.

I have said this multiple times in other threads. The fact that Ubi put the Bullet King up on their front page, went so far as to give him a robe and a kings crown, made a joke about it, did nothing, made it look acceptable to many people. Now this happens and people want blood. I get it. But they need to start communicating better and should have been making it clear from the first exploit it is not tolerated. Instead they glorified it. now they want to punish people. I find that a bit odd.

Lets compare apples to apples before we start throwing around the mask glitch, backpack glitch, and hell - even the bullet king farm as far as I'm concerned. You got mats to have an extremely small chance at crafting something good. What's the chance at a god roll vector? 0.0149% or something I read someone calculated? lol So those dudes got to roll 200 rolls at that roll and STILL PROBABLY GOT NOTHING good. An extremely small amount of them probably got something decent. Doesn't break the game. I can get around those god rolls. Still rick roll people in the DZ all the time (until last night that is) because of having a better idea of how to setup my toon then the next guy. I get called a hacker in game only to have someone come to my stream to see my gear and say "oh s****". Now? *giggle*

2 extra med kits, doesn't determine the out come of a fight. A extra few hundred rounds? You only blow them cuz you know you have them to blow - just end up restocking more, no biggie. The mask/vest well - lets be honest, if you dont - the guy your fighting is going to. Wish it wasn't that way. None of this overly breaks the game though.

Want to know what does break the game?

No - that's not my toon.

Lets be honest - I know glass canon isn't the route, but that is so much DPS to deal with while still having 83k health, and looks to be armor capped. 3-4 of those will kill a server every single time. My friends and I have done it at 190k/97k 319k/83k??? lol Come on now.

And I say break the game because lets be honest, PVE wise you have your dailys and the incursion once you hit 30. Then its into the DZ. Against that? I love the game, but this breaks it. There is no winning against that until I spend the next 4-6 weeks trying to catch up in gear doing the challenge mode legit. And that's assuming I get the right drops immediately! lol

EDIT: Please note that the toon is standing next to a stash so being buffed is not an option here.

All they really have to do is disable mobile cover, it has been used to to stuff since launch, that would be the easiest fix for all this. I haven't done incursions yet, but have already been 1 shot in the DZ by striker set users. Just disable or completely remove mobile cover.

If you want to review our Code of Conduct: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...ode-of-Conduct
    Hello there Ubisoft and Supreme Leader of the World: Massive;

As I write this I know that I am about to be criticized by a large number of players but this is what I and thousands of players , if not millions , think ...
And wow...even now I'm afraid of being banned just by writing what I think, which is a free thing for all the people in the world to do.
And yes! Yes! I know that gaming conducts and other conducts of what ever are to be respected, but you forgot that players who payed for your game and pay to play annually/monthly/weekly/daily also have to be respected and it doesn't look like they feel that way. Just saying..

Soo...either the both of you are going to ban a lot of players or "steal" away their gear..well done.
Well ... write something in you code of conduct will you, please? And not just what you are more comfortable with.
    -Players Hacking!
    -Incompetence from your part!
These could also be some of the sub-paragraphs in you so called code of conduct!

If you don't want players exploiting bugs in order to achieve personal gain, well, pay more attention to that kind of bugs, well every kind of bug, and do something about them before releasing the game.
You got a lot to worry about and to fix:
-In-Game sound: lot's of places where the sound fails or simply crashes and stays that way until the game is turned off and restarted.
-Lag: Lot's of lag during Incursion. Players are behind a wall, a grenade is thrown towards them, they are not even close to the blast area and they die. The same happens with the APC explosion radius against players..it's a great reason for laughter. But the same happens during other missions and not only Incursion.
-NPC's shooting through walls: A lot of player get shot/killed through walls and this is one of the things that is well known to lot's of players.
-Deleted characters from XBOX: What about this one?! Sounds to me that this is the worst that could have happened to XBOX players.
The list could go on soo...I and, I bet that a lot of players also, want you to pay attention to these kinds of things and fix them instead of threatening the Division gaming community with punishments and bans and that sort of things.

In fact, not wanting to be presumptuous, but instead of punishing (if you ban players you might be soon to be crowned one of the worst gaming brands and don't forget that there are millions of player who payed for this game and pay PC/XBOX and PSPlus annual pass to play) the thousands of players by banning them or "stealing" away their gear you should thank them because they discovered the bug and this allows you to correct your bug. In fact players are a great way for you to discover you flaws and to correct them.
We don't ask for rewards for discovering and using your bugs, we just want you to fix them instead of threatening us.
And...forgive me for what I'm about to say, but what does ensures us players that this bug wasn't a leak from your part to test it for what so ever reasons?
    Anyway...Think about it.
Ouh and also...think about the millions of players from all three platforms that spent money on your game.

    Thank you and best regards.
    Keep up the good work!

I agree with everything you said, except the apples to apples part. My argument is that glitches are on a range of severity, and all not equal (obviously). The concern is now threatening bans/suspensions for violating a heretofore unknown CoC that isnt even referenced in-game. I dont know about disc or uplay installs, but I didnt see that on Steam. You want to punish people, fine. But it needs to be transparent (something this team lacks) and everyone needs to be made aware that glitching, like hacking, carries the same penalties. I doubt most of your friends in the same boat, or 90 percent of the people that glitched falcon on challenge would have done so if they knew they could be getting banned, but Ill bet every single one of them would not hack because of the same consequence. The difference is that there was an actual statement by the company that said what they would do. A statement against glitching isnt going to cut it because most people that glitch justify it by saying its something that was programmed incorrectly, therefore not hacking or cheating, etc etc (I myself justify some of these glitches in that way). There needs to be an explicit agreement notice in-game, period.
