Here is a link to Ubisofts Code of Conduct for the game http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...ode-of-Conduct and if you scroll down you will notice this small but considering the current state of the game, very important statement, and i quote:
So there we have it, clear as anything, exploiting known or new issues (commonly referred to as glitches) or bugs will get you an account suspension. So why is it then that many many players across multiple platforms have provided proof of players exploiting the game but no action has been taken against them? There are currently a vast number of Division streamers openly exploiting these glitches and bugs and even showing their viewers how to exploit the bugs. There are also a vast number of youtube video's that show many players opening exploiting these bugs but yet again, all of whom are in clear violation of the Code of Conduct are not banned and still playing the game.Forbidden Conduct:
.
Exploitation of any new or known issues or bugs is forbidden and may result in account suspension or revocation.
So Ubisoft, why are you not enforcing your own Code of Conduct ?
So if everyone does it, then we should look the other way? How is that acceptable?Originally Posted by Overtkill21 Go to original post
Glitching before 1.1 got you an edge. With the crafting nerf, and all the other changes, these glitchers are now God mode in the dz.
I don't know what specifically needs to be done to fix the current situation. But it does need to be fixed. As anyone who doesn't use the glitch is now just kindling for the fire. Thus you will lose a part of the player base.
Didn't say it was acceptable, facts rarely concern themselves with acceptability.Originally Posted by dingleberries26 Go to original post
Dude, the hackers were already god mod in the DZ. DZ was broken long before this glitch was discovered. Regardless, the new Incursion is a joke. Yeah the sets give you talents but the average person can't afford them. Plus its the luck of the draw if you get matching pieces. I got 2 different pieces and even they the GR was higher, the stats and talents on them sucked. My lower GR yellows were far superior.Originally Posted by dingleberries26 Go to original post
The company's prior handlings of exploitation would suggest that in this instance they probably will not hand out a ton of suspensions. I also believe that handing out a ton of suspensions would only disenfranchise your player base, given that many are doing it. Gamers are finicky, if we feel slighted even if it's our fault then we leave the game; and I bet a bunch of the player base have not bought the season pass... So you'd just be throwing millions of dollars away just to make a point. I think that CoC is just there in extreme cases and to protect the company from lawsuits.
Not that I disagree about glichers, cheaters being punished..... I would like to bring something to your attention. That something is the difference between (may,UBI's word) and will, your word. You see the problem now?Originally Posted by cptdodgerm Go to original post
Unfortunately I'm a season pass holder. Had nothing but fun up till 1.1 . Was hyped for the game for 3 years before release, and it didn't let me down. Now with the update, and ubisoft/massive moves regarding the cheating, glitching, exploiting, game bugs, etc. I'm losing faith, and questioning my decision to buy the gold edition of this game.Originally Posted by MrDtoxify Go to original post
I have nothing but hope that they begin to right the ship. But as it sits I dislike the game greatly in its current state. As do a lot of others.
well they would have to bann 75% off the community. they wont do that. NEVER.
but ok let see it in another way.
if 75 % of people are just running around killing people would that be good or right?
i mean in the real world.
but see it in ANOTHER way.
if really many people in america hate black people and treat them in another way is that ok?
no, but well it is ignored since... wel since decades
