Look, we already paid for the game, and some of us suckers already bought the season pass, so the money is already in their pockets. WOW and FFXIV get fixed because we were paying them monthly fees and if they want our money they had to fix it. On a economic point of view Ubisoft could care less about what you think right now. Because patching the game up or not is seriously not gonna make them richer either way. I can tell you right now most of their staff is probably developing another game like Far cry 5: Future Assassin or Tom Clancy: the Multiplication. Yea, so we should consider ourselves lucky that they even put like a few people to try to fix this game.
Ubisoft is not a developing company, they just publish games. Massive is the studio behind the game and they developed it. But yes you can blame Ubisoft for publishing this game to early, although it already had a LONG delay. It is still a good game, on the signle player part, but the DZ is a mess and after the patching it only gets more bugs. Hope they delay the expansions and focus on fixing the bugs FIRST.
I got lucky. I just bought the game Sunday for my PC from Gamestop with my CC online. Called capitol one and they issued a refund that gamestop wouldn't. Gamestop gave the excuse of "wait it out they will patch and fix it" when I asked for a refund.
This game should have stayed in beta for another 6 months to fix all the crap that is going on.
I have never seen a game launch this bad with so many bugs, exploits and bad connections this decade.
Last game I know to launch this bad was anarchy online.
There may be, however when the game loads there is no mention of any other developer other than Ubisoft. No game credits, no mention of anyone else other than Ubisoft. So if you ask me who developed and published the game my answer would be Ubisoft. No one else.Originally Posted by Evillpig Go to original post
Ever heard of ESO? No, then you missed something on the 'bad launch' list. That game had a lot of bugs, every damn quest. Some quests could not even get finish and the patching took months, more then a year I believe. Now the game is a pay once and play for free, before that it was a subscription based game.Originally Posted by XthefugitiveX Go to original post
