    Invisible character on home screen

    Well the game functions for me however after the update once I connect, it takes me to a messed up log in screen where my char is invisible, everything is shifted to the left, and the options, ubisoft club and so on is overlapping the time played and location. Most of the screen is just snow. It shows what weapons I have equipped but that's it. Amazing to me how I was locked out for quite some time due to the infinite loading screen just to have this happen after their latest update. At least I could play the game now however I don't know if i should.

    There's someone else here that also mentioned that their Dark Zone level had suddenly changed to 1. I've also experienced this myself. However, sometime later it seemed back to normal. Should I be concerned that you will also restore my active character back to April 12?! I don't want to waste any time by playing up to the next maintenance and then having to find out that it was all for nothing.

    Hey Ubi, I feel the rest of the Division community that didn't exploit should get compensated. Us non-exploiters are missing out on over a days worth of content that exploiters got much more quickly.

    I'm joking by the way. I just wanted to see what it's like to whine for a moment. Carry on.

    The issue was caused by a malfunctioning server that couldn’t synchronize character data correctly and corrupted them instead. The game client was unable to read this corrupted data, and simply assumed that the character didn’t exist. Once this has been identified, we were able to restore the server to its normal functions, thus ensuring that the issue will no longer occur for other players.

    For those who experienced the issue: your character is not gone. We are currently working on a fix that should make it available shortly. Implementing this fix will require a server downtime, and we will let you know when we are ready to perform it.
    Please note however that in order to make your character available, we will need to restore the latest uncorrupted save of your entire account, which happened during the server maintenance of April 12. In other words, your character will be back just as you left it on April 12 at 9am CEST | 3am EDT | 12am PDT. You will lose any progress made on this character or any other one from the same account between April 12 and the next maintenance. This only applies to players who have been affected by the missing character issue.

    We apologize for the inconvenience and want to thank you for your understanding and your help in identifying this issue.

    They are only resetting the affected, he even said it.

    Thats not how it should be. Don't you think EVERYONE should be reset. Its only fair. I haven't been able to log in for even 10 minutes since the new content dropped. Haven't been able to run the incursion, haven't been able to hit the wonderful but short-lived 4 high-end-per run challenge mode. You guys not affected are getting basically a minimum 48 hour advancement and jump on us. Basically we'll never catch up gear-score wise.

    And you can say oh stop complaining, but 2 days of being unable to play, all the while living with a stomach-sinking feeling like I just lost 175 hours of progression on a character, all the while my buddies are all giggling about all the high-end gear and guns dropping for them. You think maybe the LEAST Massive/Ubi should be doing is giving us a free season pass or something? Nah screw em. But hey, thank god you guys who were NOT affected, who got to play division like crazy since the content launch...thank god you guys don't get reset and LOSE time and progress right???

    Dude, I wasn't locked out and I've only played 2hrs of the game, while only doing challenge missions and DZ. I haven't even touched Incursions. Stop complaining man. Not everyone will have the best gear in 24hrs lol. Jesus, some people are so entitled.
