Yeah, I should get a new phone, but I'm the kind of guy that waits until I absolutely have to before I buy one. I think 3 years with this one isn't long enough. It was expensive!Originally Posted by FatalDragon69 Go to original post
I'm on same boat with you, no use to buy new one it the old can still do the nessesary jobs. S4mini here.Originally Posted by justinman114 Go to original post
I have succesfully spread this idea to my godson, just repaired his S3 by replacing the chargeport connectorHe didn't want to buy new because he knew that I could fix that.

Have fun☺
I'm not even sure this will really help. I have a Nexus 6P and it has speed and lag issues. It's really inconsistent so it seems like this stuff has to be tied to server issues. The lag is the worst part, throughout a race my controls sometimes get so out of sync with the action on screen I can't even compensate for it. I shouldn't even have to worry about this, I have a brand new top-of-the-line phone. The game used to run better on my old phone over a year ago.Originally Posted by justinman114 Go to original post
Server involvement isnt required while selecting/running a track; you can do all of that while disconnected from the internet. Having the issue with WIFI,etc turned off (ie "airplane mode") should prove its not a server issue (in the unlikely event its doing something in the background, etc)Originally Posted by Flippant9 Go to original post
I've previously been able to fix the lag issue by going to airplane mode. Of course, going to airplane mode also makes the game worthless. I'm not sure it's always connected but there are definitely times it is.
I wish a dev would at least give a yay or nay on this topic.
