Okay the patch apparently deletes characters completely. Reddit is flaring up with posts left right and center regarding this cross platforms. I have come across the following posts already

Come to my notice this is only currently on Xbox One- If there are any PS4/PC related posts please drop in a message, we need to make sure Ubisoft doesnt take month to sort this problem out

Yeah this is terrible. If they do not offer some way of compensation or fix this, people deserve to be refunded. I like the game, it has great potential but the more major bugs like this show up, the more I begin to doubt MASSIVE has the resources or knowledge and are in WAY over their heads for a triple A title that was in development for over 3 years with lengthy delays. I am losing faith in this company, and really even afraid to turn the game on in fear of losing ma y days invested in my main character.
They could have the best PR firm in the business, but nothing will get them out of this if they don't get people back their characters, and in a hurry. Dire situation for Massive and Ubi right now with the number of people reporting this....

Yeah I lost my characters, but for me I just say F**K IT. Its a game and I am not surprised buy how this is being handled by Ubisoft. I have been disappointed in the way they have done there games since HOMM 3. Which I find was the last best game they made. I had hopes for the Division but am not surprised. As far as I am concerned I got my moneys worth but I think this will be the last game I buy from Ubisoft.I hope they get TD fixed so I can enjoy the stuff coming down the pipeline.
