Poll: Make PvE map a viable alternative post-30

This poll is to get people's general opinion on populating the post-30 pve map with tougher enemies, and respawning bosses as an alternative to the darkzone.

As it stands now, the pve map is totally worthless. Open ended free roam pve may be a viable alternative to the DZ, and constant daily hard/challenge modes.

Put the world bosses on a 2 or 3 hour timer, and tier the npc's according to zone, with easier being closer to camp hudson in the west, and progressively becoming harder as you move east.

Hopefully, this suggestion will alleviate the amount of calls we have for creating a pve darkzone, too.

If they had the same landmarks and mobs with the bosses in the wasteland outside of the DZ i will never step inside the DZ again and i'm level 62 in the DZ...just because i like to play alone and gang bang squads have no respect for others and i have no interest in going rogue...

    Thanks, zefa.

Clearly something needs to be done, especially to the PvE map. Its a shameful waste, atm.

I would love the world to be repopulated with higher level enemies and some weekly bosses who would respawn in the open world area not just in the darkzone, but only once pr week, if it was daily or hourly that would be overkill and remove the appeal of the darkzone entirely for all of the pve players or casual people, since it is a sure fire way of getting high end loot or mats.

I am not a big fan of the darkzone have not been in there that much but i do see a use for it both gear wise and story wise, and it can be fun in there when you go exploring.

Certainly not hourly, but not weekly. I think that may be too long.

Maybe every 4 hours? Personally i think the time ratio of 3 hours compared to the minutes of the darkzone is a pretty good balance, but any suggestion that promotes the discussion is good, in my opinion! Thanks for putting in some feedback!

Yes please, and respawn every three hours. Besides making pve'rs happy, it would drastically reduce the constant bickering between pve & pvp.

I agree 100% with this suggestion... Problem is it won't ever happen, most likely

    Why?

Because players in the DZ is a metric (right or wrong; It's WRONG, imo) a lot of publishers use to judge the "success" or "failure" of their games. So, the more people in the DZ, the more the devs can crow to UBISoft higher-ups The Division is a glowing "success" even if most of the people in there hate it and the experience is far from enjoyable for a lot of players. The more they can "prove" it is a success the more likely they are to get funding for The Division 2: The Second Wave, etc.

This is why looking at raw numbers NEVER tells an accurate story. You need context and to look deeper to see what those numbers represent. The easiest analogy is when a horrible movie becomes a blockbuster due to ticket sales. The fallacy is number of tickets sold = good movie... When this isn't always the case. Movie goers pay BEFORE they see the movie and can't get their money back even if it stinks. Same exact thing is happening with the DZ: Just because players are in the DZ doesn't mean they are enjoying themselves, or would even be there if there was an alternative being offered like this thread suggests.

I can see the logic, but, honestly I don't think ubisoft cares whether people play in the DZ or the pve area, just as long as people are playing, buying dlc, etc.

The more people get disgruntled with an aspect, the more people they'll lose. In the long run, I hope they can see this as a benefit.

To that point Massive wants to keep as many players engaged with their game as possible in order to sell them DLC. If they push all the PVE players away from their game (which tends to be a much larger audience if Wow is anything to go by) then there are less potential sales.

If you disagree, I would appreciate a reason. Maybe we're off base here, and you can make us see reason.
