Better Late than Never? Permanent Bans for Cheaters on PC...

    http://www.gamezone.com/news/the-div...-on-pc-3435552

PC gamers can breathe a sigh of relief. According to an article on Gamezone, short are the days of cheaters, with permanent bans to be handed out. Also, Ubisoft/Massive plans to implement a quick report command (/report [Player's name]). No word on when this will take effect. Hopefully, sooner rather than later. Though it does show that Ubisoft/Massive is listening to the community, is this, and other actions, too little too late? A lot of posts on the forums speculate a quick death for The Division. I, personally, being a console (XB1) player love this game. Ive waited for three years and have a lot of faith in this game. I will be sticking with them through the thick and thin. What are you guys' thoughts?

Console is different (I have PS4, XB1 and a high-end gaming PC) simply because there are no hacks for them... yet.

The console needs game play changes / balances e.g. Rouge Penalties raised, etc.

I'll believe it when I see it. This game has zero server checks. So I'm not expecting anything. There is no anticheat either, they've pretty much been doing temp bans based on manual reports and judging by the turn around (people that have been running cheats since day 1 not being banned yet) it's a safe bet that they barely have anyone on it.

Going to have to disagree, the insane rogue loss penalty from the days of launch was a major source of rogue baiting and general shenanigans. There's still plenty to be fixed, but I don't feel XP loss is one of them.

Also, since the penalty was lowered I found myself and my friends going rogue far more often to try to reap the rewards of a manhunt, and a lot of times the payoff for rogue is well worth it. They should leave rogue xp loss where it's at to keep PvP consistent. Far more rogues than there used to be, which means more XP for rogue hunting as well.

I have no idea what you are talking about, right now console is perfect the way it is. What do you mean by penalties for rouges ?

who gives a **** about the hackers really, I'm more concerned about the regular player holocaust that is about to go down on April 12th.

Penalties for the trolls who have nothing better to do but camp DZ entrances (low level) and kill new players just because they can.

That's not going Rouge; That's not PVP; That's just straight up asshats being jerks and with the little-to-no penalties they will continue to drive players away...

Along with the new crafting update as well...
