As for trading with randoms, eh. It is a risk. Personally, I if i get something I do not have use for and somebody else does, then I will give it to them with no expectation of something in return.
I totaly agree. As of right now all the HE gear i get that i dont need is kept in my stash in case of stat changes and gear set talents. But if i could give items to others who need it i would be very happy to give it to them.

Fact is, this feature is poorly developed and poorly implemented. End of story.

And on a side note, I don't play solo but there are people who do and they once a gain get f***ed over again.
What fact? Is it already in the game? For fcks sake dude...

How are solo players fcked over gain? Even the hardest difficulty HAS THE OPTION for matchmaking... Incursions were advertised as a heavily co-op dependant end game activity since weeks.

You are looking at it the wrong way. Players are not going to trade something they need or want. So, if the worst occurs and somebody says they will trade this for that and then runs of before giving you your end, then it is hardly being ****ed or the end of the world.

You lost something you didn't even want. At worst you lost a few pieces of easy to obtain mats.

I think the trade system is primarily supposed to be used for giving people you play with gear that you don't need and that they need. With the current drop rates I don't think the case where 2 players in a group get drops that the other player really needs are going to happen often anyway.

Still annoying...I can see some of the frustration that can happen and surely will with this "ground" trading, but oh well.. Lets wait and see first i guess. I would also welcome a "trade window" pop up where you put the **** and then both players have to confirm the trade.

Wow you're really slow are you? Where was I talking about incursions?! This is about trading buddy!

Solo players are getting f***ed, because they have to rely on matchmaking to play the game (which is fine, that's not what I'm talking about), but because they have no friends they can trust, they can basically not use this so called "trade" feature. So if someone in their matchmaking group says, "oh hey I just found this great gun but I have something better, would someone maybe want to trade?". And then you say "sure, I got this chestpiece that's really nice I'll trade it for the gun". You then have to throw that on the ground and hope the other person wasn't lying to you?! WTF is that?! Have you ever played Diablo 1? That was the exact same thing, and it was a giant clusterf**k.
So this basically means, as someone who relies on matchmaking you can not trade with anyone.
Whereas when they would actually implement a trade window like literally EVERY other game out there, you could inspect the item first and then when both agree, make the trade.
How hard would that have been?! Great game design choices once again...

This is more of a thing that allows friend to trade with others. This isn't really for general group play...you could easily be scammed. Trade at your own risk.

Yeah so like I said, once again, solo players are left out... Instead of just implementing a simple trade window... Leave everything the way it is, the time limit and all, just with a trade window instead of dropping it on the ground.

And also you can not trade while other people are in the group. so lets say you're in an incursion with a friend and two randoms. And in the beginning an item drops that you want to give to your friend. But you only have a 2 hour time frame to do this. so you have to do it, while in a group with strangers...

Look. The simple fact is that this game is a co-op shooter. It isn't geared towards Solo players. So if you are playing solo then you need to expect that some things are not going to work all to well for you.

Maybe they will change/update the trading system in the future, but all your huffing and puffing in a general discussion isn't doing a damn thing.

I agree with all the points said that there will be scamming in big quantities if the item has to be dropped on the ground. How hard is it just to trade between players and in the future just make an AH that you can either pay with division tech/phoenix credits or barter system the dude that wants the item offers you another item or 2 and you either accept or deny it . Again you are running away from the MMO site of the game and thinking only small multiplayer with friends side.

    1. Make trading between two players with UI not dropping items, also add trade tech and phoenix credits as a currency in trade
    2. Make an Auction house where people put their items and can be bought with phoenix credits, division tech or barter as barter system the player that wants the items puts the items he is offering and you have to accept or deny.

This will save your forums atleast a 100 threads where people are getting scammed and thousands of players that still will be playing the game rather than pressing alt+f4 and uninstalling it from rage.
