Why are so many people so caught up on the way this trade system is being presented? Were you really expecting a full blown trade and barter system to happen in this game? What else did you expect? An auction house? Perhaps a real money market?

Ridiculous.


This isn't a trade system, its a loot sharing system meant to help distribute loot to other players in your group at the time of drop. You don't need to "trade" anything.

Maybe they could of worded it better, maybe a "drop" or "share" system would of been better..... to many people caught up on the word trade here.

The problem is not WHAT you can trade, because that's fine how it is. Trading everything would break the game.
BUT
Throwing loot on the ground, having to rely on trust is just plain stupid. You can basically not trade with anybody you don't know. So whats the point?!

Jeezus, people have no idea what are they talking about and there are already gold farmers being brought up...

What exactly would those gold farmers do with their "gold"? YOU CAN'T TRADE ITEMS FOR COUNTER-VALUE WITH UPCOMING UPDATE. You can drop an item acquired in a party and session, which other players from that party and session will be able to pick. This is not trading, it is really sharing. Yes, it will mostly benefit organized teams/groups who would be able to trade gear sets that are coming with Incursions soon.

The trading system seems fine to me. While it may not get used all the time, I am sure when these gear set pieces start droppin, the trading system will be a god send.

As for trading with randoms, eh. It is a risk. Personally, I if i get something I do not have use for and somebody else does, then I will give it to them with no expectation of something in return.

What you have been currently doing. Relying on your own drops. It was your choice to buy a co-op game and play it solo.

I dont know. Iam a very social person so I have friends, but when I feel like playing alone I get bored rather quickly.

Yeah keep making excuses for them...

Fact is, this feature is poorly developed and poorly implemented. End of story.

And on a side note, I don't play solo but there are people who do and they once a gain get f***ed over again.
