If I hate most of the missions against the AI, is the DLC worth it? (lol)

Basically I really hate the way the AI is done in the game. You can lead an entire race with ease, then they'll catch up like you're sitting still (really annoying on those long races). Or you'll lead no problem, but the moment you make a mistake and the AI overtakes and gets a bit to far out in front they activate warp engines and drive away never to be seen again.

But, most of the short racing missions I don't mind and even enjoy to an extent even with the cheating AI, above all else, I HATE take down missions. Worst mission type I've played in my entire life. So basically, is it worth it to get the DLC if I love free roaming (esp with friends), but can only play about 4 missions before turning the game off (1 if its a take down mission). I've beaten the main story line, I'd put the game down not long after launch because of take down missions, so never finished it before.

When I'm free roaming enjoying myself I want the DLC, while I'm doing missions I want to uninstall the game lmao.

Biggest question of all, how many take down missions does the DLC add that prevent you from advancing if you don't do them?

The DLC doesn't add missions, it adds vehicles (I'm guessing you mean the Wild Run DLC?) and extreme specs and the summit events too.. but none of those are against AI. IMO if you like the game now, then buying the DLC will only add to your fun as it will not add any AI missions.

What he said. There are no missions in the DLC packs or the Wild Run Expansion. The DLC packs add more cars to the game and the Expansion adds more specs and the Summit event at the months end and its qualifiers.

For what it is worth, you can do the missions that are in the game with a crew of your friends and turn them into a friendly vs or co-op type thing. You don't have to play them alone. I agree with you about the AI being a pain in the butt sometimes, but it is fairly easy to beat even with its constant cheating. I play now mostly against the score records or vs the clock. I don't even pay attention to the AI vahicles for the most part as they are usually miles behind by the end of the race.
