Tensay likes her, commenting that she is a strong spirit. Many people assumed she was trained by Takkar to tame wild animals, as seen in the post-game credits.
But I'm certain it was Tensay who trained her, just like he taught Takkar. Remember that in game, Takkar could only tame animals by unlocking the skill upgrade menu under Tensay's section. Tensay could similarly pass on the skill to Ull's daughter as his protege.
Of course, Takkar will certainly train his adopted daughter to be a skilled hunter as well. Even though gender roles probably wasn't as defined in 10,000 B.C. , I thought it would make more sense for Ull's daughter to eventually succeed Tensay as the resident Wenja shaman, as opposed to joining the guys as a hunter. There are exceptions of course, like Jayma.
My sense is Ull's daughter grows up to become shaman, while her baby brother (I assume) becomes a hunter.
All we know is she will be a new Beast Master. The vibe given from the music suggested this might be a problem for the Takkar and the Wenja as it seemed more sinister than triumphant. Still maybe that was just my impression at the time. However I am guessing you are a cup half full sort of person so it could all be to the betterment of the tribe too. As I have stated in other threads I enjoy the idea of future integration with some Udam breeding with the Wenja to become a surviving part of humanity.
Would not be inclined to force her into any gender specific role for a start if you go down that route witchdoctors and shamen seem to be mostly men at least fictionally speaking I am not up on any real world research on this issue. Still the very word Shamen rather denotes a gender preference with women who practice magic often seeming to be denigrated to a witch role in the negative sense - the last again being mostly I add in fiction. Still it is intereting how society does seem hung up on some difference based on gender with male practicioners of magic somewhat less demonised.
