most rogues kill players at extractions, with a damage de-buff of 80%, even the weakest level 30 should be able to survive attaching loot to a rope. So you do have a chance to extract loot at mostly any level. With this being said darkzone REALY feels like an end-game activity.
I dont like the idea, i think boss farming without rogue agents should happen outside of the darkzone (against tougher enemies since there is no gear extraction).
matching people based on power or rank or even fireteam size should not be a thing, non rogue agents basically have the opportunity to be 20 vs 4 (already a massive challenge if people actually went after rogues) and matching with people your rank or power would instantly make this impossible.
What Ubisoft needs to do is discourage going rogue a bit (they went overboard with the last update), but very strongly encourage killing rogue agents. This would make going rogue a more challenging experience.
I think this idea is simply superb and would solve tons of problems, but not all I'm afraid. Cheaters will simply change the number of rouge kills they have after each phase change so that they can continue the lamb slaughter in the low geared "friendly gentleman" player area. The only way to counter this cheat is to keep track of the actions on the server and not as a file on the clients computer.
That's not what he suggested. By doing as he suggested then you will (imo) get to experience the DZ as it was when you leveled up, or before the rouge groups started to go on rampage. You still have the choice and abillity to kill another player, but if you do it too often, then you end up with similar minded player who likes to kill every player they stumble across. I Like PvP aswell, but I would atleast like to be able to defend myself if I was attacked. Getting killed in LESS than a second doesn't really give me that option...Originally Posted by madstoog Go to original post![]()
I think your suggestion is well thought out but should not be implemented. The DZ is supposed to be an unpredictable clusterf**k. and that's exactly what it is. Segregating players based upon their play style will completely remove this element. The players who are complaining are simply spoiled weenies who need to learn that they're not entitled to everything, and sometimes a game just isn't meant for a person like you. Not "you", dear original poster, but the collective "you" who are complaining that things need to be changed in order to suit them. Maybe they need to change in order to suit things?
