    Game won't load since update. So what happens with the benz challenge?

    ok, so there are a lot of people NOT able to play the crew dew to problems with the last update. it's been 4-5 days now since that update. i don't know about anyone else, but i was looking foreword to taking on the Benz challenges and try to win a new Benz and CC. the challenge starts in 2 days now. my car i was hoping to have ready by then isn't going to be even close now because of this BS with Ubisoft not being able to fix the update problems with in a reasonable time. so my question is simply this. normally i don't care about being compensated for anything. but if ubisoft can't fix this problem, and i miss the challenge that i already can't get ready for. do i get compensated for something that is only going on for a short amount of time, and this issue keeps me from taking part and losing out on my chance to play something i was looking foreword too? i mean this is BS. i was wanting to play, i play this game every day and most all day. i figured this game would be fixed by now. this shouldn't have taken no longer then 24hrs to fix so everyone can play again. idk if it's a hardware issue so i'll give my specs if it helps.

    Their support is pretty terrible and they have issues that have been around since launch that have not been resolved yet. You will have better luck getting help for your issue from players. What exactly is the problem that you are having? I might be able to help. I've had to do a lot of debugging for the game for friends since Wild Run came out. Iad a few friends who couldn't place since it launched in November and we finally solved that issue. I'm sure it is one of the common issues, just need to know what is happening to your game to narrow down which one.

    it acts like it is going to load, but as soon as the screen tries to pop up, the game just shuts down. not message or error, just shuts down. oh yeah, and i'm running windows 10 64bit home edition.

    Give this a try and see if it works for you. It sometimes takes a few seconds after ending the task for the game to pop up, but it should do the trick for you until / IF they ever get around to fixing it.

    1. Launch the game
    2. The game says that it is and update for the game, download it.
    3. When the Window says "Installing... 1/1" open the task manager.
    4. Search the process called "The Crew Install Helper" and finish the task.
    5. Wait until the game run.
    6. Play it!!

    i've tried this approach already :0(. as well as uninstalling and reinstalling. it just continues to do the same thing every time i try loading the game.

    the link is confusing to me. so not sure what it means. looks to me like they are saying the error is for people with normal paths anyhow. all my paths are not normal. i keep all my docs on another drive already. i don't having anything downloading to my ssd. everything is directed to my storage drive. so idk what there thinking. all i know id a bought a humble bundle for a couple games, and now neither one of them games i bought the bundle for work. assassins creed rouge has never worked. and now the main game i bought the bundle for don't work. i think it's about time i walk away from uplay games just like i walked away from buying any origin games. which is sad to me. because that also means i have to walk away from anymore far cry games which i own all far cry games and dlc's being one of my all time favorite games. and now the crew that i have become very addicted too playing. way to go Uplay. push away more customers from ever buying any of uplay's games because you can't tend to the problems. i mean really? all they had to do was backdate the damn update till they fix the damn thing. but NOOOOO, they have to put it off till there next update and hope it fixes the problem. if the crew isn't fixed in at least one more week, i am going to say **** ubisoft games no matter what the game is. ubisoft's support is complete **** if it even exists at all. there is no real support for the crew or assassins creed that i have yet to play the whole 2 months (give or take a day or two) that i have owned the game.and yes Ubisoft, i am getting extremely pissed off over this and your lack of support, for any game. you don't get to fixing issues so the people that support your products can play the games you develope. learn to take care of your customers and supporters before you have none left. or hand over the games to a company that cares about there supporters. learn from the developers of Ark: survival evolved. they know how to treat there supporters right. ubisoft could learn something from them and how to treat with there customers. if a update is screwed up, they fix that **** right away so all there supporters can play the game. anyhow enough bs talking. either fix the crew or i will NO LONGER BUY ANY GAME THAT GOES THROUGH UPLAY ever again. i will not support non-existing support in any game.

    get a grip? dude i paid to play this game, and now i can't, and haven't been able to play my go to game for over a week now. don't set there telling me to get a grip. tell ubisoft to get grinding and fix there ****, people pay them money to play. and i wasn't done playing the game. in fact i was just starting to really get into the game and be competitive. so yeah i have become very frustrated not being able to play my go to game.. and i have been patiently waiting up until the even started that i can no longer take part in because of this BS support. so if you can't handle me venting my frustrations, then don't come to this page no more. i'm ****ing venting my frustrations, so leave your get a grip comments at the door please.
