You should not use the same key for Steam and UPlay. There is a separate Uplay key, that was displayed during the installation.Originally Posted by deadhorse1878 Go to original post
You can also access it in the properties menu for the game in the Steam Client.
No. It's the cd-key given by Steam to activate via uplay. The Steam activation worked perfectly, hence i can launch game and get as far as i have On the Steam Library you right click cd-key and it gives you 3 digit - 4 digit - 4 digit - 4 digit code SPECIFICALLY to enter within game? There is no physical disc as it was bought as a digital download, supposedly for convenience.
I agree, that is what I remember too ... except I don't remember ever having to input the Uplay key ... but that was a long time ago.
There should be a couple of keys shown in the right-click display. Make sure you are using the one for the game.
If none of this works, you will need to open a ticket with Steam support, being as that is the store front where you made your purchase.
You can also open a question on the Uplay Support web site, but I think they'll just send you to Steam. Maybe they can help walk you through some things I am not thinking about.
Also, none of these keys will work in the Uplay client. All of this is to be done in the Steam client.
Hey there, NapoleonNA! As mentioned by previous users, we are aware of this issue but are currently unsure of a fix. I recommend that you attempt to use this activation key to see if that allows you to play, and if you continue to experience issues, please report this directly to our support team using this site!
