After the ad popped up I installed the game, but never received the outfit. The ad also stopped popping up for me (maybe cause I ticked it, thinking I had unlocked it?). Anyway to get it to pop back up?

I updated through playstore, started it and it crashed right after loading ingame "verifying download". I killed the game and started again, it played ok. but no pop up. No shark "shadow" in outfits row.

It is actually normal that you couldn't receive the outfit, because it wasn't supposed to be available just yet.
With the update, we prepared the outfit to be ready, but for diverse reasons, it was visible on some Android devices.
We have now removed the outfit, that is no longer visible on Android devices. However, for the few lucky players that have been able to equip their rider with it, we didn't take it back.

But the most important to know is : he outfit will be available soon for everyone, iOS and Android players without distinction.

We are sorry for the confusion.

The issue with the outfit had nothing to do with finishing updates. It wasn't a error in the update itself.
