Or just forgo these small groups and put a building full of bad guys with actual strong boss guarding the loot chest.Originally Posted by CranberryShip Go to original post
Considering after you reach level 50 darkzone. You start to loose 0.75 to 3 levels per death as a rogue (depending on your killstreak). My panicle in the darkzone was 58. Then decided to go rogue 4 times in a row (cause I was bored one night), and went down to lvl 50. I was with in a group with two other friends, and after we had our fun, and realized the harsh penalty. Those two individuals decided to stop playing until the PvP is rebalanced.
The current xp loss penalty for rogues is way too high; though I believe the 'bonuses' they are giving for going rogue is just wrong.
For me? The Division is a PVE game, with PVP possibilities... like so many past multiplayer games, it's going to kill itself by removing that PVP barrier and making it where you only get tons of herp derps running around in groups of four farming every person they come across, only for the fact they can do it. It will turn the Dark Zone from a fun experience, where the occasional rogue pops up, into an "Open world death match", meaning it won't take long for the game to die so far as DZ content/players go. Almost everyone I know who plays this game does not play it for PVP at all. We play it for the PVE content.
If I want 1v1 to 4v4 gameplay, I'll go boot up APB... the gunplay is so similar that you're already having aim botters and worse showing up here. That alone will make this future patch and the sheer number of trolls running around in the DZ an even bigger headache and awful experience than it would be without them.
When you see ONE person tear down a 4 person group challenge boss (the helicopter) in a matter of seconds? It's not reasonable... or believable. I have seen this multiple times... and it's always been with an LMG.

Anyway... I do believe the penalty for Rogues was too high. But to have the knee jerk reaction they did, it's going to cripple this game... and it's barely standing on both feet as it is because of such limited content once you reach cap. Removing the best zone from the average player is not going to help any. You're going to end up with groups camping safe houses and check points with no other intention than to obliterate whoever and whatever walks through/out of them.
And removing the named mobs after 1 kill? That's absurd as well and will badly hurt the game in the long run, imo. It's the only place to get loot in the Dark Zone outside of chests...
I think they meant named mobs outside of dark zone which already disappear if you kill them along with their escort and respawn if you leave escort alive.Originally Posted by Hietala217 Go to original post
If it however somehow expands into dark zone, god save us all.
If so, I dun really care then. lolOriginally Posted by Davoodoo92 Go to original post
I just know the DZ would be extremely boring with the named mobs removed.
Yes, it was about the named bosses outside DZ. The biggest exploit was the boss next to Autumn's Hope safe house, where less than 10 seconds away from the SH, the boss would spawn, you run out, kill him, loot, run back in (you didn't need to die) rinse and repeat... each run took at most 30 seconds especially in a group. With scavenging, you could get 6 Phoenix Credits per minute.Originally Posted by Davoodoo92 Go to original post
If you can survive the boredom, you can be making up to 360 PC/hr...
As for DZ bosses, it's the multiplayer area... they wouldn't even dare remove the respawn on the named ones there.
