Think you might need to go to specksavers - I am certain Assassin_Pan72 is correct it was the child - and that makes more sense to me too - children being impressionable and fast learners.Originally Posted by Mack_Yoshi Go to original post

Agreed, thats about the only DLC worth doing for this game IMO. People argue realism but FC has never been a game so focused on realism to the detriment of fun (primal I would say is the closest they've come though)Originally Posted by LaMOi Go to original post
^^^ Maybe there is still a chance for a future spin off DLC that is even more tongue in cheek including dinosaurs in the way that Blood Dragon was even crazier than FC3. Personally now having played Primal I would like to see them do more with the truer to life current setting first before going too outrageous - although I agree FC with dinosaurs is a hard to resist premise. The idea of a modern day FC were the dinosaurs akin to Jurasic Park are brought back via genetic engineering would be especially enjoyable or some lost world scenario. However what they attempted to do with Primal which was take us back to a hint of the real culture of thousands of years ago is special too - almost unique - as too many games play very fast and loose with history - it is just a game - being the excuse to ignore any attempt at accuracy.
Having said the above about embracing greater realism we have to contend with bomb dropping owls - carrying massive payloads up their butts - within Primal so the inconsistency of the FC approach sometimes leaves me feeling somewhat confused.
Detailed background vrs - some - needlessly suspension of disbelief damaging gamish mechanics.
Sure I have nothing against OTT action in an OTT action game but OTT mechanics that, (any magic aside which abides by its own rules), do not feel possible at all that is another issue. Doing something extraordinary in a otherwise realistic world is exceptionally cool but when the world itself ceases to seem real that makes doing the extraordinary not such a big deal. I think Just Cause lost the plot a bit with the last, you can overdo the manic stuff. Any made up world needs grounded to some extent or it risks becomes a big silly mess of just messing around.

I don't know why but Primal is the first game I have fun to start over and over again, I m sure the Wenja and Izila language is adding to this unique experience. I can see a village expansion in a DLC, also maybe a way to make a ancestryline by marriage. Oh dear this game has so much potential!

Wingsuit is splendid, but with the last dlc they brought an almost permanent boost who kinda ruins the whole beauty. Now for this game, if they would bring in an permanent editor maps into Primal I do not think it hurt at all huh?Originally Posted by vic_must_play Go to original post![]()
