I'm sorry, HG, but whenever I kept reading the name 'Speedy', I kept thinking back to myself! I forgot you had a cat named Speedy... my, and I was wondering, "When the heek did HG ever give me any pills?"

Boz is truly amazing. Last night I gave her her pill, it went all the way down, and she was out of my arms and eating (her reward) in mere seconds. We got this down! Thank heavens (and thank Bast) that I have been blessed with a sane and sage -- and cooperative -- cat.

I've never given any of my cats a pill, but I do hold them while my mom puts that flea stuff on their necks. My how they squim!

Boz and I accomplished our little maneuver in record time tonight. I opened her mouth and stuck it down there, closed her mouth, she swallowed (just like that!) and we were done. In just about the same amount of time it took to type it. She is good!
On another topic, the weather here was positively balmy today, and I had my window open for the first time since last year. Oh, that felt good! I could hear the birds singing, and I could barely tell the window was open except when a breeze blew. It was all the way up, too. Ah, spring!

Well it's spring over here too, Marae. The daffodils are beginning to bloom already! Also, the sunrises are waking me up because the sun is getting into my room at 6am (I have a window facing east and I don't pull down my shade all the way) Oh, and it's gorgeous out! Thank goodness it is spring break!

My best RL news is last night I finally exorcised the thing that had been bugging my browser for the last month and a half. Once I identified it (big ol' folder right there in Program Files) it was a piece of cake to uninstall, but I was expecting something sneaky and hidden and it never occurred to me to just look for foreign software. Anyway, things are Much Better Now, and I am profoundly grateful to whoever installed the other piece of spyware that got caught by my protective software -- the two intrusive folders were pretty much one above the other in the files list and that's how I spotted it.
"What is that thing? I don't remember installing that! When was it installed -- February 18, huh? What are these files? 'Browser helper,' huh? Oh, yeah? Take that! ZAP! Hee hee hee heeeeee!"
Much happier Marae, now.

Um, yeah. Only three -- er, four -- away, in fact. On the up side.
I knew it was coming, but I missed seeing it roll over!
I was just about to go post in the "Coming of Age" thread -- "Look at me, look at me, look at me now!" -- but mine is the last post in there. Ah, well. Still a happy me.

Well hey, you should be happy! Nah, I forget to post my n000th post in the 'Coming of Age' thread, but then again, I always found that place more for the congrats and celebration part of reaching that number.
Anywho, celebration in the 'Coming of Age' thread!
