Ok so some player jumped in my teamates line of fire on purpose to make us go rogue, and i went rogue, died and lost a lot of stuff. I lost some gear, money and almost 2 ranks because someone jumped in front of my teamate when we were fighting npc's trying to level. Thats not fair at all! You should make it so only one player goes rogue instead of the whole team, and maybe the rogue agents teamates should be marked, but not a full on rogue status. I can deal with the threat of other players killing me, but being roped into a rogue status, and suffering the full extent of the penalties when youre playing straight is really frustrating.
This is fair, this is so funny how people angry about dz penalty. Just try not to shoot other people and thats all.
Its like you kill other people in real world and want to not be punished for this? Or even not kill just punch other.
This is mmo-like game, if this is your fisrt mmo experiense so welcome to hardcore side, in most mmo you get penalty for rogue.
I don't think you understand the problem he is explaining. The current meta of playing the Dark Zone is to run into other peoples line of fire, force them to go rogue, and then kill hem. It is cheap, exploits the system, and fundamentally ruins the Dark Zone right now.Originally Posted by Playk Go to original post
lolz.. "take it back"... this guy lost 2 levels of exerience.. and if he does find the guy again, he is most likely "normal status". meaning OP will go rogue and risk lose another 2 levels.Originally Posted by Mixzawa Go to original post
yes... very nice and fun system... is it not. if you pvp in the end game pvp zone, wich is all about pvp... you lose exp and levels if you do pvp...
Who ever made this pvp system at MAssive / Ubisoft should very much get fired... and let someone with a brain fix this game, before there are only hackers and cheaters left playing it.
more and more of these videos are coming up on youtube... so yes.. losing exp in pvp death, in the END GAME pvp zone... seems fun ???

wont be long until they use unlimited range, wallhack and 1 hit cheats. wich means the second you get into DZ, you die and lose exp... over and over and over.
But, "find the guy and take it back" right. its a messed up pvp system and you know it. or you havent faced cheaters yet.
Exactly. I am an extraordinarily geared player and I would love to get the blueprints available at DZ rank 50. I can't do so with people jumping in front of my fire, and because I do so much damage even one bullet causes me to go rogue. It is a very silly system that needs some serious rework.Originally Posted by Eldainss Go to original post
same. and i love pvp games.. well.. the ones wich have a logical pvp system, ones where you dont LOSE exp in pvp if the game is all about pvp.Originally Posted by Leodigarius Go to original post
imagine CS-global.. if they lose exp on pvp death. LOLZ.. that game whould die in a few days, and there whould not be any more tournaments left or E-sports.
"sorry but team XXXX have lost too many levels and experience so they can not defend their title this time"... LOLZ... whould be awesome to see that...
Luckily, the ones who made CS-global. thought. "well. losing exp on pvp death in a pvp game seem kinda stupid, lets avoid that, so we can get more players to like and join the game instead"...
and, voila!!.. CS-global is the biggest pvp E-sport game. only LoL are its rival. (you dont lose exp in LoL either)...
Dude my thoughts exactly.why should the whole team suffer because one person ran in front of one of your team-mate.it should be the team-mate who should've gone rogue not the whole team.then it should be upto the team to either protect him or has a punishment shoot him.and take is loot.Originally Posted by KingKron93 Go to original post
right its so shoddy. like his 3 teamates stood behind me and my friend, he ran up from behind us directly into my friends line of fire, and theyall opened up on us the second we went rogue. we didnt stand a chance. i then had to spend the ENTIRE day getting back to that point. im not even joking. 6-8 hours to get back to where i was cause some **** head roped me into a rogue status. the gear doesnt matter, its the xp.
No, even if you think the Rogue punishment is fair, deliberately jumping into the line of fire to FORCE others to go rogue is not fair at all. Not in the slightest.Originally Posted by Playk Go to original post
Sometimes you just can't avoid it. If you're aiming down sight and firing at a high HP enemy and then out of nowhere someone jumps right in your line of fire, you can't even stop firing fast enough before you go rogue.
To me, it's griefing and should be punished.
