Sorry if I doubt you, more so because it seems they have done the normal thing to do with The Division and R6 Siege... which is, launch a buggy game and hope for that miracle patch to fix it once they have gotten the money from honest people.

I could be wrong but I'm thinking all you guys saw was a front to apace a few gamers by showing a different face than what they normally wear... talking more about the Ubi wigs than the Devs of course because at the end, good or bad coders, they want to make something better and can't because of marketing or time restraints put in place by the stingy wigs.

Unless of course, all this change that we have been hearing on this forum will commence or start with this game and perhaps this game alone? Which in turn does not make any sense.

Sure, all the blame can not be put on to this Big Corps because if people are dumb enough to keeping buying one crap after another w/o restraint then it is a human trade that we will do as little as we can to keep churning games until someone says STOP or make us get better either by competition or keeping your wallet in your pocket... unfortunately, we have people with more money than brains or self restraint and THEY know it..

I don't really care what happens at launch since I restrain from buying games until the reviews come out but...

The reason why I hate Ubi is that they sold out on the "Tom Clancy's"-trademark in order to attract a larger audience. They could've aimed for excellence but instead they ended up creating average games that are generally just forgettable. I really don't believe anything in the above quote. Investors want their money, Ubi CEOs make the studios sell more games one way or the other. It sucks but that's life.

Wildlands is the last chance I'm giving to Ubisoft. After that, I won't bother with even following their IPs.

Now it just depends on if the act on what the fan base is saying. Now yes they can't do what everyone wants because that is impossible but some of it shouldn't be that hard, and it would help. Also if they keep making the games they want and what they think is right, it's coming at the exclusion of a lot of now previously loyal fans. So they are trying to get back in the good books of the fans, but it seems to be slow coming, and is it too late?

They are working hard. I can't go to much in depth but I can say that they realy changed their approch towards gamers.
A lot of you think that they are not heard but it's false. CM ( and a lot of other people ) are working hard to connect the feedbacks from here to the devlopment team.

I think it's not everyday you see a CEO taking the time to answer the question of some gamers. And also completly assuming that some of the game they made where not at the expectation of fans.
And I will agree with all what Bluefox said.
I will just add that the gaming industry changed a lot and the methods are realy different compared to the devlopment of a game like GRAW in 2006.

Well, I believe you are telling the truth but allow me some percentage of skepticism as this is not the first time they say they want to listen to the masses only to bamboozle and scam their way with our money once the game is out. I will gladly eat my crow once the game is out and the real masses (read: not fanbois or paid for Mags) start to speak out and since that has not happened yet and they have treated us like 3 legged dogs, I believe I have the right to speak the truth and not suck their sack like most people here do for fear they will make a bad or simpler game because it is what we are getting at the moment.

How about they man up, take it like a man and prove us ALL wrong? or at least ALL of us UN-Politically Correct Gamers

There is no practical way yet to simulate and fully test what happens to a game on release. Alphas and Betas can provide a very limited soak test and identify some major bugs, but update patches and fixes to issues are here for a while yet. Get used to it and stop complaining about it or we will get simpler, less creative games that are "safe". Do you want that?
I am not even going to pretend to know or even understand all of the intricacies that must take place in order to make a game but, I also don't understand how to make a car or a coffee maker or even a wood spoon, yet, I really don't care, none of us should really. At the end of the day, if I want to buy a car, I buy it expecting to start and get me from point A to point B, I don't pay and then wait a couple of hours or days for them to bring me the 4th wheel or a door etc, etc. I also don't buy a coffee maker and wait for them to ship me the Glass carafe. I also don't buy a wooden spoon hoping that I can buy the wood and then take it to someone to carve the end of it so I can have a spoon. I do expect to go buy something I want and that it works right there and then, why else am I paying full price for it? If I want it used I take my chances but I will have to pay half of a new one, etc, etc.

Simpler and less creative games is what we are getting now... do you mean it will get even worse? Nah, I doubt it. I am not a betting man but I predict that if UBI goes away, someone else will come in and take their place. what's happening is we as gamers have lower the bar and what was not except able before is now more than ok and we are even happy that they have taken our money and we got nothing in our hands.

Sorry but, when did this happen? Not wanting to nit pick here but have you gone to the Division and R6 Siege forums to see how many people are not happy with the bugs, freezes, choose a problem here?

Have you seen videos of The Division and the Bullet Sponge Miracle Armour that the character seems to have? I guess I am now also comparing this game with The Division even though I am not. I am simply stating a mere fact that if the bullet damage on GRW will be about the same than they should consider changing that tactic... at least on Hardcore Mode.

I am sorry but I have to be the only one from a different planet where I expect to pay for something and not be broken. But again, if they make me eat crow, I will be the first one buying another UBI game in a long time.

It will be glitchy/buggy at start no matter what. That's just how open world games are.

That said, I do agree to both posts above (GiveMeTactical and GhostLead-)
Again, we'll see after E3 what direction they decide to go and whether it's worth it to stick around.
