    Neolithic flora and fauna

The Far Cry Primal is very good adventure game indeed! But where are the small wild horses (like the Tarpan horse)? They was very common meat source for Cro-Magnon humans (and they are remembered in many cave paintings around the world). And the The European Bison (Bison bonasus) was very common too. And other thing: I miss the exchange trade (barter). The Neolithic world got no money (maybe use of Cowry shells) but they make lot of exchange trade!

Yes, glad they kept dinosaurs out of it but still finding odd mixture of jaguars + leopards, tapirs + Old World ruminants jarring indeed. A little more background reading by designers would have made for a more authentic game.

I think their aim was fun experience, hence cross continental fauna. Agreed on horses and bison, maybe a great plains map dlc.

The goats which are running around everywhere in the world should be replaced by horses. Maybe this could be done by a mod.

Vast and wide Mammoth grass plains sound good idea

Harsh, vast and wide Mammoth grass plains sound good idea indeed! It is very hard to survive in flat country with no or seldom trees...

You need more variety in a game landscape than a flat plain imo. People would soon grow bored with it as just oh look more of the same. At least with mountains you can have the contrast of plateaus and hidden valleys narrow paths and so on as well as caves... A flat plain is just a flat plain great for Mammoths - dull for gameplay - unless you had much more serious survival elements and even then I guarantee people will soon be moaning that everywhere they look / go it is more of the same.

Diversity of landscape is almost a requirement in most open world games that is why Oros works pretty well. You can move from one region to another and need never get too bored with any single landscape. Sure as an add on region plains might be interesting for a short while but I doubt a flat area would thrill.

They did a pretty good job with the game, although when you think about it a lot of stuff was missing, several animal species, no hatchets, (although function wouldn't be much different than a club...) atlatl (thrown spear, would be a ranged weapon, unable to melee with it...) In a way it seems as though they could come out with a massive DLC sometime and add in a whole new area and also put in stuff that didn't make it in the first time around. Maybe they left it simple for a reason though.
