If something doesn't happen to fix the major issues (I.E. Anticheat and Servers) then this game will most likely go down to a scarce few players.

However, one food-for-thought: There's a game out there based on a HLF2 mod called: The Hidden. Its completely free, and people loved it! However, the team managing the mod abandoned it due to the issue of life. Now, with no updates, most everyone left except for a few who adore the game.

There are people like myself who adore just playing with the same people and having simple fun. We do some ridiculous things, and also play seriously. It's just a small game for people who enjoy playing the game which we all do.

If R6 dies, I still have people I know who will get online to just play some games and have some awesome fun. For the most part (for me at least) the community is decent. There are still people who despite knowing issues with this game, will play it because as we all know: When it works right, its downright beautiful fun. Host a private match or two, and have fun.

SO, if it doesn't die: Great. If it does: Pity, but it'll still be fun to play with friends.

    My thoughts, at any rate.

Doesn't even make sense for you to be playing at the moment.
There may be a lot of shooters on PC, I play a lot of them, but there's not many that are like Siege. Which is why its frustrating that Ubi isn't giving the love that Siege deserves.

Oh I'm sure. Imagine how console owners feel.
Like I've said before, I went back to Battlefield and really appreciate Battlefield more than ever now. I don't have to worry about silly sht.

there was a point in time where Siege made me put down BF4 for a long time, no other game has done that.
    It's a shame, really.

I play Siege on PS4 and am hoping it doesn't die. So nice to have a more realistic shooter where you have some vulnerability and you or the enemies don't just absorb bullets - division is fun so far but they shouldn't have a realistic setting if it takes an entire clip or more to put someone down.

BF4 was my go to for 2 years (played on PC for 1.5 years from day 1 and actually picked up the premium edition on sale for PS4 for the next six months) and siege, even with it's flaws, has pulled me away. Just wish it had the dedicated following like Battlefield - I forgot when it was, but there was a major patch for BF4 like 6-8 months after release which stomped out some of it's big netcode issues.

What mad you play it on console after playing it on PC?

I was like the only person in the world apparently who liked BF:Hardline... so disappointing, from the first DLC there weren't enough players WITH the DLC to play those maps in death match (DM is chaotic but the most fun mode for Hardline I found; without tanks and all that, it was more fun as a plain old squad shooter). I guess the reason was because it diverged from what BF players typically want, and not big enough to bring in players who don't play BF normally. I was pretty good at it and had lots of great games but bad balance and tiny player count ruined it. The balance they tweaked some and made better but nothing can bring more players in after a while.

I play both BF4 and BFH.
At the moment I play more BF4 because people actually play the DLC maps on that game.

BFH has finally added gun bench which is great, but I would like to play some of the older DLC maps like The Beat and so on.
Don't want to invest my time into a game that's dying. I still play occasionally, though. There was even a time when I played BFH more.

You clearly do NOT know what you are talking about. There have been ton of things that have been fixed and the netcode is allot better. The problem now is that people complain because they do NOT understand lag compensation etc. Unless you ONLY want people to compete if they both have ca 50ping its something that will stay in the game. People trying to act as BF4 is so much better. BS. BF4 type contact are usually not like they are in Siege. The combat is usually over longer ranges, there is no "downing" (were the person is on purpose invulnerable during the downing animation) and you dont have as many headshots vs headshots type gameplay as in this game. Basically, you dont notice the lag compensation that much because allot of the combat is not within the same close on close headshot vs headshot type shooting. Where you do at times noticed that it seems you shot him, while instead he actually hit you a split second before and the game decided via lag compensation that you got headshoted he got shoulder shot or just downed etc.

That's good, maybe I'll hop on soon and see if I still dig it. The Enforcer class was my favorite weapon types but they are outclassed by almost everything... especially the crazy good DMR / semi-auto snipers. I got ridiculously good at bolt action headshots for a while. I really love that game it was just upsetting to be dealing with such low amounts of players.
