Dead in 3 months (PC)......not good

Sat in a casual lobby for 2min before a match was found where my team of randoms lowest ping was 235 (highest was 285 mine). After the match was over the next lobby was over 4 min before the random team started dropping out. By minute 5 3 players had gone none joined. Another player and I sat in this lobby an additional minute and a half (before I left the game completely) no new players ever joined. I will say this it's a bit frustrating to spend money on a game plus it's season pass and have it die before even the second wave of content has been released.

After I played R6:Siege Alpha/Beta I was looking forward to finally getting a FPS that was more tactful than the current franchises out there. No kill streaks, no sky jumping, no UAVs, no vehicles,etc.. Just some old fashion team based play. There were some issues in the Alpha/Beta but, in the testing phase there usually are issues. But, once the Beta was completed the finished game that was released with none of the issues addressed. The game has seen numerous patches that say they've addressed a number of problems but, doesn't seemed to have fixed any of them. I've read through the forums and there is little to no feed back from developers on the growing number of player complaints, hackers, netcode, glitches, load times, server crashes, just to name a few..... I did read through a thread, that at the end, a Ubisoft form moderator stated that the thread had to many flamers on it and it was being locked. Now being over 40+, flamer was a term that used to mean homosexual, though I believe what he/she meant was to many angry posters and trolls. Either way it wasn't a vary professional response and not far off from the countless trolls that are already posting in the forums. It left me with the sense that Ubisoft and it's employees take little pride in their jobs. I mean truly I thought after enduring the EA\Dice Battlefield 4 problems that never would I see anything worse..... I was wrong. At Least the developers for BF4 continued to own up to their responsibilities and continue to try and improve their game, even after 2 years.

Now that my 2 cents have been said I'm sure the forum trolls will be descending like moths to a flame.

That has never happen to me. Were you playing like at 4 in the morning? Heck even then when I played longest I waited for a casual was 3 minutes. Please stop with these kind of threads, no the game is not dying.

common sense tell you, where would you spend most of your time and money? Would you put your (UBI) time into a game like DIVISION that has 80,000 in population or R6 with 8,000 in population and dropping....mmmmmmmmmm.....let me think about it... use your common sense. Remember they are a business and they will use their time and money where they can make more money. They are not in business to lose time and money.

You serious? The game is already dead. Just because it's playable on the ESL etc doesn't warrent the games activity. The fact that the division is played more than rainbow already says that people have packed up shop and moved to something else.

Unlike devs at the likes bulkhead, who are currently designing battalion 1944 and listening, communicating and providing the community with updates via video, forum and email, the devs of this game put themselves in a hole when this game was released and are yet to climb out of it. To many problems to fix, considering it's been 4/5 months.

This isn't a dig or a troll, everyone is entitled to their opinion but seriously, this game is now a game people play casually and will never have a competitive edge that the major franchises have. Something that Ubisoft have failed miserably at. Like I've said previously, love the game and the general idea, hate the hidden agenda from Ubisoft. Anyone who opening announces that their own game will be provided with monthly patches says to me that they're expecting these problems.

To be fair, we should not be blaming the devs for everything... Like most companies, a game developer has two side: the dev side and then the investor side. More often than not, there are decisions made that the devs get no choice in. Say for example, using 30 tick over 60 to save money because 30 updates a second is honestly a lot of updates from the human perspective. However, from playing CSGO and other games, we the gamers obviously know that isn't anywhere near enough. But, an investor is only concerned profit, where the devs are concerned with quality (one would hope).

This game is and remains a great idea, but I feel like it was pushed out the door a year early because of shenanigans going on in the background and now the devs are stuck cleaning up a problem they probably knew was coming once they were told to release it. You could liken this situation to the Master Chief Collection. Dear god that was a real cluster ****.

So ESL would support a dead game?

By the way its 330 am and the longest I waited was 4:42 for a ranked match...

This game has been neglected since day one.
Great gameplay encompassed by a shoddy online infrastructure. From rampant cheating/griefing to various stability/connectivity issues to a laughably barebones matchmaking system.

Don't even get me started on Terrorist Hunt and its avoidable issues and shortcomings.

Ubisoft only cares about its shareholders and the bottom line. That's why they keep regurgitating the same dreck each year.

it sad that in the end it was ubi who kill this game not by its developer directly. honestly, since the game come out this game clearly lack support from ubi and even getting resource pull back by ubi for another game like division. it as good as death. let say i not think there will be enough man power for keep this game alive or go to where it should any more. an excuse about this game will be update once per month not have any weight because this game now worse than its was. i agree with them with the fact that they did make it better with update 1.2 but i also can't deny another fact that since 2.0 this game getting worse real fast and 2.2 is the last straw for many people.

    amen.

The developers are not preventing the unbelievable amount of teamkills at the start of the round. Their incompetence play just as big of a part as ubis.

Well it's simple, PC already has a ton of shooters that have their act together. Games like this that come out for PC don't have wiggle room to fck around for as long as it has. Why would people put up with the bullsht that comes along with playing the game when there are plenty of other shooters on PC that are adequate. Doesn't even make sense for you to be playing at the moment.
