i challenge your logic. Did anyone hate the idea of a created character in skyrim? or dragon age? how about saints row? they were ALL well written storys, with excellent dialogue, with the freedom of character creation, I don't see why a created character with a female choice would be a bad thing, since there's NOTHING stopping the story from it. The standard characters of far cry are basically blank slates with little dialogue anyway. You can't honestly say that the few lines that takkar had were "excellent" when all he said were lines like "you go west, live with wenja"// please tell me how a created character would, in your words, be a "hindrance" to that typical dialogue. Its 2016 n so many games STARTED off with this option as a standard already. UBISOFT needs to catch up with the times.Originally Posted by HorTyS Go to original post
The story's of far cry are based around the world/ Plus, takkar is fictional character with limited dialogue, and since it's 1st person so you can "be" the character, then what's wrong with a character I want to be playing as?? Takkar had limited dialogue, who didn't object to anything he drank, n said simple lines like "go west", and "you command the fields", so HOW is that anything a created character can ruin when other games kept their voice actors centered around a created player, while STILL keeping the story interesting?? A perfect example of this being true is saints row, where no matter how u created your character, he/ she STILL had the same personality.
