No option to download any of the ACIII DLCs that I own on UPlay.

I just bought and activated the Season Pass for ACIII on Uplay. It lists all 5 DLCs in the DLC Section on UPlay as "owned" but there is no option for me to download or install any of them. When I launch the game and click on 'The Tyranny of King Washington', it directs me to the store to purchase the DLCs.

Hello and welcome to the Forums,

Please contact Ubisoft Support so they can troubleshoot this with you.

    Thanks

I have basically the same problem, i bought the Deluxe Edition and activated it and then typed in the code in the extras Menu and after that nothing happened except the message that i unlocked 16 things ( which are not unlocked ). I have no option whatsoever to download the DLC. I wrote a support Ticket a few days ago but nothing happened so far. This seems to be a common problem, why is there no general Troubleshoot about this?

I don't know if they changed this, but earlier you had to download the DLC files and manually run them (after installing the base game). I can't remember where I got the download links, possibly in an email from them, but I still have these installers backed up on my PC.

Do remember, whenever installing a Uplay game, and an updater starts when you launch the game, always let it finish, then exit and restart the game, and repeat until no update starts, else something within the game will fail. For example, Splinter Cell: Blacklist had to update this way 4 times last time I installed it. It's strange that it doesn't finish in one go.

ah okay, actually this was my first ( and frankly not the best ) experience with Uplay :/.

The Support is not really reacting to my ticket and im still stuck in the process of getting the DLC running.

Yes, you are supposed to get an Email from UBI with links to download ( well at least thats the case back in 2012/13 when the DLCs were released i don't know how they handle this now ) but .. i didn't get an email and the support didn't reply yet.

Thank you for the general advise for the install of games.

PS: i live in Germany and i can only access the German support.. is there any way to talk to the support for other countries?

Yeah, I submitted a ticket around the same time I posted this thread and no reply from Ubisoft Support as of yet. It's a bit ridiculous that I can't access games I paid for. I'll check the email again to be doubly sure, but I'm pretty sure they only contain activation codes and nothing about actually downloading the games. ):

TL;DR: look for the highlighted paragraph below.

I've been pretty frustrated with this for a few days. I finally decided to search the forums to see if I could find an answer, only to find this thread.

We've all got the same problem: Uplay says we have bought the DLC, but we can't see it in game. That's because we haven't entered the license key. Where do we get that? One of the comments higher up made me think about it a bit more and Is started thinking of my Steam account and my Humble Bundle account and then I realize that Uplay probably did the same thing...

Go into the Uplay client. In the upper right hand corner you've got your user name. Click on your username then go down near the bottom and click "Account Information". On the left side, click 'My Games". Here you'll find a list of all the games and DLC in your account. The keys are initially hidden, but if you click "Show Key", voila! there it is. Enter that in-game (you don't need the dashes, but I think you do need the letters to be capitals).

Shame none of this is better documented or automated. I can understand it with Steam (after all, to Ubisoft STEAM is the third party) but there's just no excuse for it for DLC bought on Uplay for games bought on Uplay. It should just automatically unlock.

Now if only I could get the system to sell me the Benedict Arnold DLC, I'd be happy.
