Ubisoft doesn't plan on dealing with hackers in a way that works.

"If you suspect someone is hacking or cheating, contact support. Our team looks into it and if they confirm that the accusations are true, they ban them. Naming and shaming players on the forums is not allowed, however. I'm going to close this thread since there are several others on the same topic."

Thats the reply I get after posting a video of blatant hacking. You really plan on dealing with them on a 1 by 1 basis? That's as productive as deleting .txt files off of a hard drive to clear up space. (love that analogy, prolly cause I'm a bit nerdy) This is the same method you are using with Rainbow Six. IT DOESN'T WORK!

Also, I don't care if I get banned, I will name and shame anyone that hacks in a game I pay for. Criminals don't get to keep their identity secret when committing a crime, why should this be any different? Ban me, don't care, just fix your game so I can play the only good Ubisoft game to come out in recent history.

Here is the video again for those that have yet to see it.

I'm sorry, but it's pretty pathetic that people have to do this to be good at video games these days. What you posted is blatant cheating, and that response you got before is pretty lame. At least Destiny had an actual in game reporting feature unlike the division. It's just to bad Bungie never actually used it.

    Welcome to Ubisoft gaming lol.
Knew it would be this way and will remain until they use a viable anti-cheat like Batlle Eye or Punkbuster.
    Fair Fight is utterly useless.

    Here is the vid, embedded.
Unlimited ammo, high rate of fire, sad, isn't it?

This should be priority. Even over DZ balance. This and server-side issues that keep people from playing

This is quite literally the only way to handle something like this. What are you suggesting? That they ban the player on a whim because someone accused them of cheating? What if it was just a glitch? They obviously have measures in place to catch and ban cheaters, but they're not going to get all of them. The ones that slip through the cracks need to be dealt with in the manner you were told. Public shaming on the game's forum is never going to be acceptable, and has never been for any game that I'm aware of. Even if its deserved. Contact support and make them aware of the issue and let them deal with it.

Naming and shaming might not be allowed by us BUT I'd quite like it if UBI decided to name those caught cheating and also the steps taken against them.

What will they actually do to the perps?

Lock them into DZ purgatory with ever other cheat they catch?
Flag them so they can never extract loot if they're rogue? (This is something that could be argued should already be in game since why would the division choppers be aiding rogue agents)
Remove the game from their library?
Monitor and potentially total ban from all online games they have on uplay? If they cheat in this good chance they do so in others.

I don´t remember what developer that did this, but one took all cheaters and set them all in one special server together. If they like cheating so much, they can play with each other.

In regards to Naming and Shaming.
Don´t do it. I know it may sound strange, but it´s like feeding the trolls really.

Report them, do it in a constructive way and try to record it with Shadowplay or OBS etc.
The cheaters will be removed and dealt with, but they will not just ban 1 / time. They will gather and investigate everyone that is reported. The more they cheat, the more proof in the logs.

Take the video above as an example.

The logs will show a player with an incredible high kill ratio, and the DPS is of the charts. No weapon causes damage that way.
Tadaa... The cheater has just signed his own doom, and will be dealt with when the ban-hammer arrives.

I would second the idea of locking the scumbags in their ow little hole

I's like to know if they are using Fairfight and have allocated the resources to set it up properly? It would also be good to know that people exposed as cheaters are going to be dealt with swiftly and severely.
