DZ should be a PVP areea , PvP means that you can have FUN fighting other players , i see no fun here .Really hope they fix this , i wontpay 60 euro to forever kill mobs with 3 billion HP
Then you should REALLY not buy this game, since either in the dark zone or the PVE area you will end up killing mobs that are increasingly hard to kill. So better spend that money on something else. It would have been best for you to play at least the open beta, and have a clearer idea how the game mechanics work.

The punishment for dying as a rogue is simply INSANE. There is absolutely NO reason to lose 2-3 levels, over 50k credits and so on. The only thing you gain from survive a damn MANHUNT. A MANHUNT BEING THE ENTIRE SERVER CAN SEE YOU AND COME AFTER YOU TO KILL YOU. Is like 2k credits. Something you get for killing like 10 mobs.

I understand people dont like the fact rogues can kill someone and steal the stuff you have looted. But....thats the point...of...the dark zone....The dark zone is a place considered to be extremely dangerous. Why would it be so punishable to literally play the way the game is advertising itself.

As a result to this absolute nonsense. The dark zone pvp has been completely dead. One of the most fun parts of the game either chasing people or being chased by other people is simply nonexistent.

Every once and a GREAT while a few people will go rogue. But when they do, the pvp is so ****ing dry that everyone on the entire map runs after those few people because they are so eager to kill someone.

Almost every single person I run into and play with have such a huge urge to go rogue but again. The punishment for rogue will literally erase an hour or two worth of mob grinding.

So seriously come on Ubisoft. stop WASTING THE POTENTIAL.

EDIT: they even bothered to put a section in the uplay launcher dedicated to showing how many rogue agents you have killed. Implying that it is some sort of great feature that is even worth tracking the stats for and yettttt. nothing to kill.

Im glad its like this as it makes you think before you go rogue. Your stealing other players loot remember.

Hope they never change this aswell. Going rouge should punush you really hard, like in the real world. So if you want free loot, be damn sure you can handle it. Making DZ a pvp fest, will for sure make me leave this game.

The PVP is there, trust me. It's just MINDLESS PVP that most players are weary of. For instance, when you grind mobs in there for drops, there are some players that intentionally step into the crossfire or into a grenade's explosion area just to make you go rogue and then kill you, because you inadvertently shot another player and got flagged for that.

So there is PVP, if you want it to be. It's just that you will have to face certain consequences if you do that, like in most online PVP-oriented areas a game has to offer. This is what the whiners cry about, they want PVP without those consequences even though they knew from the two betas and also from Ubi and Massive that this is how it works.

I think it really just depends on the instance you're in. I've had some servers that were dead and some where it was a rogue bonanza (im currently in the 20-24 bracket).

From my experience the pvp isn't dead at all, it's just not prevalent in every instance of the DZ.

I agree. As aggravated as I get in that moment I get killed as a manhunt rogue, I don't want it to change. Knowing you have a high penalty if you die adds so much to the intensity of surviving a manhunt.

It's heli risky, having alot of money and keys, finally passing dz rank 30 at rank 19, if I rogue and go most wanted and die I'm gonna drop a ton of money, I'm gonna rank down like a boss, I'm going to drop a whole lotta keys, I'm going to drop alot of my personal items.... That's a risk, and it's understandable no one rogues much. It's tough finding a rogue to kill. I camp around extractions for a chance to kill a rogue if one turns.

My friends and I are all PvE Players. Problem is, we have to enter the Dark Zone in order to get Division Tech. But we have learned our lessons from the Beta Testing. Instead of entering the low level DZ, we chose to engage the hard one.... and it worked well in our favour, since we get what we need there without having to worry about the hostile Faction...
