Okay Ubisoft had advertised this darkzone as a no rules zone. Players will kill other players for loot and reward. But since this game has launched. EVERYONE is scared to go rogue. The punishment for dying as a rogue is simply INSANE. There is absolutely NO reason to lose 2-3 levels, over 50k credits and so on. The only thing you gain from survive a damn MANHUNT. A MANHUNT BEING THE ENTIRE SERVER CAN SEE YOU AND COME AFTER YOU TO KILL YOU. Is like 2k credits. Something you get for killing like 10 mobs.
I understand people dont like the fact rogues can kill someone and steal the stuff you have looted. But....thats the point...of...the dark zone....The dark zone is a place considered to be extremely dangerous. Why would it be so punishable to literally play the way the game is advertising itself.
As a result to this absolute nonsense. The dark zone pvp has been completely dead. One of the most fun parts of the game either chasing people or being chased by other people is simply nonexistent.
Every once and a GREAT while a few people will go rogue. But when they do, the pvp is so ****ing dry that everyone on the entire map runs after those few people because they are so eager to kill someone.
Almost every single person I run into and play with have such a huge urge to go rogue but again. The punishment for rogue will literally erase an hour or two worth of mob grinding.
So seriously come on Ubisoft. stop WASTING THE POTENTIAL.
EDIT: they even bothered to put a section in the uplay launcher dedicated to showing how many rogue agents you have killed. Implying that it is some sort of great feature that is even worth tracking the stats for and yettttt. nothing to kill.
