Give it time. I think most people are like me where they haven't even bothered going into the dark zone because they are still enjoying PVE. I pretty much played a ton since launch and i just hit level 27 last night. Although i know i am not the most hardcore of gamers, i put some serious time into this game and still have not reached max level. I don't see myself becoming a rogue that camps extractions to shoot people in the back but i most certainly wont go into the dark zone and become some under leveled sheep for some rogue to slaughter.
Because you (oh great one), killed them all. Simultaneously. On all systems. In all instances.Originally Posted by Proffesional Go to original post
I actually think the DZ turned out exactly the way I thought it would be. Higher level DZ players hanging around extraction areas waiting for lower leveled players learning the ropes of extracting, only to kill them for their loot. I am very sorry but if you don't consider this rather lame and pathetic game play than I don't know.
I for one refuse to play in the DZ because of the above fact. Ubisoft AGAIN created a MP game mode that doesn't make sense and only brings out the idiots. Yes, you read that right. All the times I have gone into the DZ I only met trolls and plain *****s. Way to go Ubisoft by creating a PvP section that will die out soon because of the idiots trolling other players to "git good".
What I would have done with the DZ was to make it like the areas outside the DZ, but with harder missions and harder enemies. The option to play against each other would still be there but it would be given to people as a choice. Ubisoft, you always are able to create game modes that feed the trolls and the idiots. The way the DZ is now is poop and will discourage many people of actually going in there besides the few *****s who find it amusing to spend their days trolling others.
And those who now wish to tell me I am butthurt. I am not. I am just sick and tired of Ubisoft's failed attempts to create MP game modes. Maybe they should stick to SPO and let others work on the PvP parts.
I've been seriously no-lifeing this game since release (over 3 days played) and I think there is a healthy dose of PvP in the DZ, you just have to force the issue a bit.
Spent hours going rogue last night and it's very thrilling to be in a manhunt chase. My heart was literally pounding when I am getting chased by 3 or 4 guys and am low on health.
It's been a long time since a game has made my heart almost leap out of my chest from sheer intensity/excitement.
There's been tons of negative opinions on the game, but I, for one, am absolutely loving it.
He's only top Rogue Killer because it's been less than a week of launch and he's stayed at 14 to harass the people who turn Rogue due to lousy shooting.Originally Posted by DrExtrem Go to original post
Players learning the ropes always get smoked by the more experienced guys. You learn from your mistakes, adapt, get better, and eventually are skilled/equipped enough to fight back.Originally Posted by metalgearso1971 Go to original post
This is gaming 101.....
Been scanning extraction zones for suspicious characters since the first beta. It's pretty standard procedure in this game. I like that extraction zones are areas where at the drop of a hat it can erupt into a warzone. If you scan and see some suspicious characters around an extraction area, move to another. Again, this has been common practice since the closed beta.Originally Posted by metalgearso1971 Go to original post
Yes, being killed as a rougue should only reward the players that kills a rougue, after all, it's pvp intentional, being killed as a rogue should be no penalty whatsoever.Originally Posted by j_Stranger Go to original post
is basically you die and they take your loot. not you drop your rank and this and that.
which makes this pvp system apart from all other pvp system games. I think devs should take general feedback for pvp and not improvise in what they think is good for pvp.
general feedback is take all feedback from all games and do what is good based on player's experiences and fundamentals.
You sound salty.Originally Posted by metalgearso1971 Go to original post
Why not mark yourself as a great player and not die in a stupid way...?
