Hello I hope someone can help me,I made a few maps with Black Hawks placed on the ground or on a platform, they remain in position when I explore or play the map in the mapeditor but several times they are leaning to over to one side when I play it with a friend after publishing the map.In my latest map Desert Fight v3 all choppers are leaning over,I have used the flatten tool on the ground where they are standing, but they still have tipped over. How do I get the choppers to remain standing upright ?Please help
Those choppers will do that every time if they are touching ANYTHING including the terrain, must be ever so slightly above it. There are several other objects that do that too. If you do your testing from the game menu editor you can find those type of problems before you publish. If you opened the editor without starting the game 1st, it doesn't always play the same. Also playing from the game menu editor is in full screen and you can take screenshots. Just playing from the editor only is not the same. Playing from the game menu editor should play the same as it does after it's published.
I downloaded Desert Fight snow 2 and looked at it in the editor. Now you have all 3 choppers too far above the ground. I lowered all 3 to where the front tires "almost" touch the ground but not quite. Set upright now. As I said before "play" it from the game menu editor before you publish. From the game menu, click Map Editor, click All My Maps, Click on the map, Click "PLAY". Do not click "Open in Editor" I tried playing your map.... choppers tilted. Tried the one I changed.... choppers level.
I didn't look at Desert Fight, but sure it would be the same thing. Always test "Play" from the game menu editor "before" you publish.
