Avatar unlocks reset? | Forums

I was playing JD2016 and my internet seemed to not be doing well. After being able to load a JDU song and play it, when it finished it told me that that was the first JDU avatar I had obtained. It's still visible in the My Profile menu, but when I change the avatar all of my other JDU avatars are gone.

EDIT: I am playing JD2016 on the Wii U, if that helps.

I have the same problem. The most annoying part is that I have to unlock all the avatars again (I had 203, now I have 9). Im in the Xbox One.

I just got off of the help desk chat. I am using PS4 JD 2016 unlimited. My avatars have also all reset. I had completed all the songs and now have to open them all back up. The help desk was not able to give me a solution, only mentioned noting the issue with the team. Im not happy, but there doesn't seem to be a solution other than opening them all again.

So today definitely confirms what causes this to happen because it just happened to me again.(I recovered them from a backup file so mine is restored) Whenever Unlimited doesn't show up on your game, (Indications include the Phone Option having a red bar instead of a yellow bar when the player is on the screen where you choose what controller method to use, the Unlimited avatars not appearing whatsoever in the Avatar selection screen, and the songs not appearing whatsoever in the menu) the game seems to reset the avatars back. The next time the servers pop up on your game, the avatars appear locked even though they've already been played before.



Visual reference. The yellow bar will be red and say "Sign In" when the servers are down in your game, and the servers reset your avatars while it's in this stage and appear locked when they are back up in your game.

Definitely needs to be fixed for this game and the next game.

Update: It appears that I got the red thing again, but when I looked back up after having to look down for something, it turned yellow. When I went to play, all the avatars for all the songs I've played were unlocked. So it appears that if you don't enter the game when the bar is red then the avatars will be unlocked, but if you do enter the game when the bar is red, the avatars will be locked when the bar turns yellow again.
