Seems i´m not the only one who thinks Lesorsier´s videos are unique and valuable. Top player doing clean runs on extreme tracks... Anyone agree his thread could benefit more people if it were here in the General Discussion area, more visible, maybe even a sticky? I know his videos don´t have a voiceover explaining everything, but it´s still a tutorial, on par with Carterclem´s videos in terms of skill level. Besides i don´t think anyone else is doing it, if you search youtube for the Donkey all you find is Lesorsier. He´s the man.

It might also be an incentive for him (or others) to keep sharing donkey on extreme tracks.

I know JollyCharly is trying to get us to use the Community forum.... but I have to note that the only threads there are ones that were moved there. It may not be the perfect design, but we are all so used to this forum being the central forum... I dont know if I can ever change.

Just a suggestion.... kinda bothersome to have 2 stickies dedicated to videos... what about having one stickie and carterclem and lesorsiers...and anyone else...all post to it? I love what they are doing though, for sure!

I didn't even know this thread existed. Honestly I do pretty much all my talking in General Discussion. Probably my fault but it's too much of a hassle to go everywhere.

EDIT: I think I may have known it existed now that I watched the first video, but I just forgot. Out of sight, out of mind I guess. It's cool stuff.

I have to say that ubi-charly asked me to move the thread in community sanction when it was made. I guess the idea was to move community there, but for now it seems that it is not working.

From the other side, who is interested for Donkey he will find the thread, and the videos. Just google for Donkey Like I did, and found nothing That's why I started to make them. Beside, there is lot of questions about that difficult tracks and the Donkey, and I found it's easier to make video then explain what to do....like somebody said once, picture is like 1000 words, and video...much more I guess

By the way, I made a lot of videos, I post one per day,... the last one is about Lost Race Track time saver that Mike_G discovered,.. well yesterday...

Lesorsier your videos are very helpful for people like me who depend upon dedication rather than skills (which is less in my case).your thread should be up there with carterclem's thread.

@Xitooner Between merging, creating a new sticky, and bringing it back as a normal thread, i´d say merging is the worst choice. Carterclem´s thread is his own and contains a specific format (editing/narration) and a final number, 10. If you merge you mess that up. I´d much prefer one of the other two options. Thoughts?

I agree that merging is not good idea. My idea was to have at least one Donkey dedicated thread.CarterClem videos are great by the way.
So they can make it sticky, can put it back in general discussion, or just leave it in community sanction, you will find it

There is 30 videos so far, most of them is difficult tracks, island and challenge pack 2 and 3 tracks. But we have 203 tracks so far on the map. Not all of them is attractive for Donkey, but there are many of them with some tricky part where Donkey can shine So I'll chose this kind of tracks for future videos.

PS, I don't speak in my videos, English is not my language, and I don't want to sound like Indian hacker, but I can make slow motion of tricky parts, just give me a notice.

Oh psh.... don´t worry about speaking in your videos, they speak for themselves I think a dedicated sticky is a good idea too, i don´t mind having 2 video stickys but will have to wait to hear what JollyCharly has to say. I would however like to make a suggestion if you don´t mind? It´s just an organizational suggestion since you have high output of videos (as you said 30 so far but potentially could double that).The suggestion is to create a list of links OP of the thread, organized in a way so you have island group, challenge pack 2, 3, etc. What do you think? Would work well in a sticky situation.
