Losing 5 hours worth of grinding's experience is not okay.

It's throwing 5 hours into the garbage for absolutely nothing. There's no reward for going rogue. It's something you do if you're bored or if someone talks **** about your mom at this point.

You don't even do it then, because you're trashing 4-5 hours of experience grinding for nothing.

Rogue system is broken, and needs a fix.

F1-Futty I just read your post and saw that you only gained a few credits but lost a lot when you died doing the same. So my question would be (and I will read more to see):

Is there any reward at all for going rogue?

I have not opened my copy yet. Been to busy. But I have heard from people I know that play that the DZ is basically just a play with friends zone to them. No reason to go rogue. That would definitely take away from it for me. Basically takes away tension if there is little risk of people going rogue.

Of course I can understand the big penalty. But only if the loot is worth the effort. That would be the big thing. If I can just play the DZ without rogue and easily get loot by other means like in the Betas and my friends are saying then I see little reason to ever do it. Again, so much for the tension in the DZ if that is the case.

Oh wait i have higher chance of getting High End gear then seen a rouge lol.
lol the game is 5 days old my friend. Give it some time. It wasnt until the last day of the betas that everyone started turning rogue and thats cause are levels were capped at 8. We dont have that level cap anymore and majority of the people are still playing through the campaign or grinding for better loot in the DZ to make the campaign easier. Not many people are going to go rogue right now. Give it a month and I guarantee you will see an increase in people going rogue.

Like I said before, the penalty is not really that bad cause your not losing anything of value. If anything its the chance of survival that deters people from going rogue. You have to be well geared at your rank to survive against 3-6 people chasing you and since most people are not going work on a well built character below level 30 because of the fact the gear they have below 30 is going to need replaced. People will avoid going rogue until they are level 30 and have decent gear on that they think they can survive with.

The game has been out for 5 days and you are complaining about something that will be fixed with time. No adjustments need to be made at this point. If in 2-3 months the number of rogues dont increase then we should take a look at adjusting something so that people go rogue more often but still not making it a FFA crap shoot.

This game is in it for the long haul, not just being the flavor of the month.
