Personally, I would prefer progressing the main story and side mission to hit level cap before venturing into the Dark Zone.
But am wondering if this would make me miss out anything if i would to progress both normal and DZ rank progressively? Understand that once you hit player rank 30, the entire DZ will be "renew" to an even higher difficulty level for better loots and rewards.
Also, read online that there will be some form of normal credit conversion to dark zone credits. Any idea when it will be implemented?
I'd wait for level cap. They really, REALLY ****ed up the DZ since beta. All the extraction points are guarded by large groups of high level purple enemies. It's pretty much impossible to extract if you're playing solo, even if you're over level for the area. I'd wait until they fix it, or you are able to enter at max level with a full group. Without a full group at max level, you may not even be able to extract at the 1-14 area. Me and my friends have been trying to extract for over an hour now...
No offense but that is really, really sad what you are saying.'d wait for level cap. They really, REALLY ****ed up the DZ since beta. I am level 8 my friend was level 12, we tag teamed all 2 EXTRACTION ZONES in the 1-14 DZ area easy. You dont need a full team at max level to extract, you just need 2 players who are within the level range (8-12 level is enough).
I've seen comments like this quite a lot.Originally Posted by Proffesional Go to original post
People aren't all of the same skill level.
Some are good, some not so good. I'm not ashamed to admit I suck. I don't normally play shooters, i'm an RPG gamer, I got this game because I enjoyed the beta and it's far from the usual run and gun stuff I don't enjoy.
Point is, you can't expect everyone to be able to do things like you do them.
True, am not the best at FPS either, i play RPG much more frequently. But I think it's good that the game sets at this difficulty, how are we supposed to get better if there is no chalenge, besides it does make it far more interesting, even though i understand it can cause some frustration at times. (but with certain amount of frustration comes a far greater feeling of accomplishment)Originally Posted by Gomly1980 Go to original post
I'm quite good at The Division, and I'm more than happy to be realistic about issues in games, so I have to say that the current spawns for the enemies around the extraction zones are BS. Spent 30 minutes trying to extract from that corner position in the 8-12 area, as a level 11 with good weapons.Originally Posted by Proffesional Go to original post
From that position alone, you have approx. 3 enemies who'll spawn between you and the gas station, 2-3 who'll come from the gas station, a machine gunner or sniper who'll potshot you from the roof of the gas station, and 2-3 more who'll spawn behind you.
Unless you're running with a group or some sort of OP as hell build, that's not manageable. I've extracted there maybe a dozen times so far, it's always the same.
If you got problems in the darkzone then head back to pve to unlock more permanent passive skills, equipable passive skills and variations of active skills.
If you build upyour stats and skills right you can solo every mission on hard and solo every extractionpoint.
I, for example, play with sniper and smg, 30% critchance (25% more for the first bullet before joining a fight), heal over time and revive gadget as first skill and second the barricade for damage recieved reduced and damage dealt increased.... and allways running bufffood and only use medkits once im down to 10% because they heal me for 66% so the last percentages regenerate on their own while in cover.
