So I was just playing about an hour ago and I came back after taking a break and tried launching the game through steam everything seemed normal. Then Uplay asked for my Activation code again. I thought it was weird and decided to just put it in again upon doing so I got this in orange text "This CD Key or Activation Code is already active on this account. Please visit your Game library to access your games." I literally JUST did that. I thought oh maybe this means I have to launch it through Uplay instead of steam (this in of itself is stupid) and guess what. That's right the same exact thing happened. So I did some googling to figure out what is wrong, well the only results for this was a person with a similar issue during the ALPHA. What the hell, this still hasn't been resolved?
RESOLUTION TO PROBLEM (for me anyways)
-my ww.vdf file (from the steam library) ended up on my desktop, no Idea how this happened

I guess once they have my $60 nothing else matters right?
So I fixed it for myself by checking for my vdf file in my steam library turns out it somehow ended up on my desktop (no idea how) you might need to find yours mine was called ww.vdfOriginally Posted by FragaGeddon Go to original post
G'day Team,
I've got a super simple fix, after about 5 hours of screwing around with various things, I deleted two files from my steamapps\common\Tom Clancy's The Division.
uplay_install.manifest
uplay_install.state
After deleting those two, ran the game normally and the Uplay Product Key/Activation Code splash screen no longer appeared and the game began normally.
Hope this helps someone.
