    Hey guys, I was having the same issue but I fixed it!
    Go to your GeForce Experience, then Games, and then select Tom Clancy's The Division, optimize your game and then click the button next to optimize and then change the game to Windowed mode from there. That did it for me! I hope this helps.

    Welcome to the forums!

    Can you try the following steps?:

    Open your Control Panel, and make sure to uninstall anything which is related to Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable.

    Once this is done, please download and install the following files :

    Microsoft Visual C++ 2005: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/down....aspx?id=21254
    Microsoft Visual C++ 2008: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl...ils.aspx?id=29
    Microsoft Visual C++ 2010: http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/downl....aspx?id=14632
    Microsoft Visual C++ 2012: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl....aspx?id=30679
    Microsoft Visual C++ 2013: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/down....aspx?id=40784
    Microsoft Visual C++ 2015: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/down....aspx?id=48145

    Let me know if the issue persists!
    Well I tried this and I'm still getting the same problem. The first (and sometimes) the second attempt to join the game results in a black screen. I'm getting nothing but a cursor and can't even alt tab to desktop as all I get is a black screen.

    sorry to hear that, it worked for me, try to run it in windowed mode, open the task manager and monitor the memory usage, check if the total amount of memory the system is using gets above 50% of your total installed memory.

    Are you running Windows 10?

    Yes i use Windows 10 x64. The RAM Usage is Normal, it goes to 50-60%. But the GPU Usage goes 100% for seconds and then it chrash. i use a GTX 770 with 4GB VRAM, the VRAM usage goes to 1,6GB. I analysed the dmp file and its allways the same Error:

    I tried to diable the TDR, after this i increase the Timeout Value but nothing works. This Game is so bad programmed! Its the badest Gamerelease since Years for me. I can play FarCry 4 without any Error, also Battlefield 4 or Hardline.

    This is the same error for me. Oddly enough I have the same gfx card.... So, I'm keeping an eye on this.
