    if i prefer the "console" fov over the "pc" fov, and i am playing against people that play the "pc" fov, then i would be at a disadvantage. i would be forced to use their "option" just to be on a level playing feild. so yes, even though its an option, it would be an advantage. with it fixed, there is no advantage as everyone is using the same fov.

    Yeah I'm shocked their is no FOV slider. My fault for buying before checking it out. I'm used to any good game having it. Played for an hour and a half and had to quit because of nausea. It really sucks (my nausea problem and lack of FOV).

    As covered in my previous post but i'll copy and paste it here for you.

    "For the people with some insane notion this gives people with a higher FoV an unfair advantage as they can see more of the environment, why do they allow multi-monitor setups then?"

    So do you want to start the campaign that multi-monitor setups are Pay2Win or shall I?

    Edit: Actually lets start a campaign so the developer locks the game to a singular aspect ratio and one monitor. Can't have those pesky widescreen people having an advantage, sounds pretty Pay2Win to me, I can't afford two monitor setups so i'm at a disadvantage!

    Well, then its an disadvantage for me.
    I get dizzy with the low view and also get headaches after a while.
    Every other person that doesn't have this problem have an advantage over me.

    Ha, no they aren't. They're actually quite common. FOV ini tweaks in third person games without a slider are common too.

    @op,. I was surprised that they didn't include one. I mean you can swap shoulders on your gun but you can't change the FOV, kind of disappointing.

    +1. Been playing both 1st and 3rd person games for over 25yrs, and The Division feels uncomfortable to me, nausea is brewing.... Which is a shame as I'll probably take it back, as it's not worth constantly feeling sick over.

    The last game that did this to me was The Last of Us.... 30fps/60fps made no difference, and again I couldn't enjoy what I thought was a great game prior to it being shelved 1/3rd through.

    Please Dev's... just one more tiny little slider in among the already impressive array of video options?

    Do not expect a FOV slider as this game is obviously made for console and TV where they are used to play far away with a 60° (lol) FOV.

    Once again, DEVs don't give a **** about PC and PC customers, most of them in fact outside of dev tools can't even use a mouse a and a keyboard properly, not talking about the project management either.

    So do like, me don't buy it until a FOV tweak is proposed, officialy or not.

    Exactly how I feel, i'm not letting up until a dev acknowledges it or they ban me from the forums. People might think we're overreacting but when this simple little thing can have such a huge negative impact on your enjoyment of an otherwise great game and developers again and again do this ****, you start to get a tiny bit frustrated.
