    Stamina Bar

The developers should add a stamina bar to the game to make the multiplayer more fair. A lack of one gives people unlimited stamina, meaning unlimited attacks. As I saw in the alpha winners of a confrontation were those who spam the attack button faster than their opponent. The few exceptions were lucky enough to parry their opponent's attack, opening them to a spamming attack victory. Now if a person does not parry, or dodge, their opponent's blade they could be stuck in an endless blocking ritual. A ritual where they are forced to keep blocking each QUICK attack until their opponent stops attacking, or until the person gets bored, drops their guard to attack, and get themselves killed in the process; "a block and attack is slower than a attack." With a stamina bar every attack takes away a certain amount of stamina. When a person depletes their stamina they go into a resting state where everything is slowed. Their blocks are slow, their movements are slow, but most importantly they can't attack while in this state. Their will be in this state for a certain amount of time before they regain their stamina. It would act as an incentive for people to approach the gameplay more seriously, or at least punish those who don't.

Now I didn't actually got my hands on the alpha. I never had the opportunity. So if something like this already exists then please, correct. And if you want me to explain my reasoning further then please, ask me. I really want you to; I could seriously right a book on this topic, but if I did you probably wouldn't want to read this.

So DEVELOPERS, if you see this, please consider what I am saying. And if you are willing to hear more from me I have plenty of ideas on other topics like customization and how heavy attacks would work in a stamina bar system.

Funny you should say that, because over here, someone who was in the Alpha said that a stamina system was present.

I too wanted to know about stamina thx for the link, it seems stamina was added in the closed alpha:
    (taken from the other thread)
"Stamina has multiple bars like health and it plays an important role in the combat. You need it to perform attacks and stuff. It's generally what helps keeps players from spamming and going Leeroy Jenkins on everyone. It really helped kept people from farming fodders too quickly as well. IIRC, running, rolling, dodging, blocking, and a handful of other stuff don't drain stamina.

Players can see each other's stamina bar so it's an extra addition to the combat. i.e When an opponent runs out of stamina, that gives you a chance to become offensive with no repercussion."

Very very good if we can see opponent's stamina

I feel like aggression should be rewarded, not punished. If stamina is used for attacks and leaves an attacking player vulnerable, that would reward just blocking until the enemy tires out and you strike. While some people may think that's fun, that would lead to slower combat encounters that are more boring to watch or even participate in. Though, it would seem blocking doesn't require stamina nor should dodging or parrying, so that's fine. It probably just means we'll see a more back and forth where one opponent goes on the offensive, uses their stamina, and is then forced to block the next attack. I think that's actually quite fine.
