Hey faliju, welcome to the forums.
Are you running on two monitors? Other users have found that this issue was resolved by disabling a secondary monitor.
If that isn't the case please try this workaround.
And if you're still unable to get into your game then please contact Ubisoft support and they'll be able to help you out.
Hi, it is the Nvidia Driver. I had a AMD video card and the game ran perfect. Decided to get a GTX960, and updated to the newest driver. Game would not load, just the small Far Cry loading screen, and then nothing. Decided to install older driver 362.00, it worked for 2 days, but now getting the same issue, game will not load. Left multiple tickets since March 8th, but getting no replies

i use an Asus Strix GTX 960 with Nvidia driver 359.06 the game works fine
i installed that driver because thats the last one Asus has posted for my card on the ASUS website
i also installed the drivers under custom install
i did not install Nvidia geforce experience
that software has had a bug in it since driver version 361,75 that even Nvidia admitted is a driver bug
the bug can cause several Ubisoft games to crash when you launch them
Nvidia did post that they will fix it in the NEXT MAJOR DRIVER BRANCH
the bug was in 361.75 , 361.91 and possibly 362.00 has it too since the in release notes for the Nvidia 362.00 drivers did say : there are no fixed issues in this driver
so try to make sure Nvidia geforce experience \ shadow play is completely disabled or do not install it with your drivers if you are having a problem
i'd say try the new Nvidia driver 364.51 but many users are still posting about problems with that driver , several have reported that they either had to reinstall their operating system or some have even stated it damaged the Nvidia hardware they own ..... from what i have read on the official Nvidia forums
if you need to download the older Nvidia drivers you can do so here http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us
go to that page enter in your GPU and OS version and click : search
make sure you always use DDU in windows safe mode when removing your old drivers
you can get that software on the official Nvidia forums here

Thank you for the help. I uninstalled the newest driver using DDU and installed 359.06 and the game is back up and running, I also removed Nvidia Experience. I always like to keep the newest driver installed, but now I am hesitant about doing an update if they release a new driver version. This has been such a headache![]()
I have the same driver installed, but does not workOriginally Posted by reddragon1965 Go to original post
