I will open with jumping off waterfalls. There is something that is just fun about leaping off one waterfall after another in Primal. Due to the lay of the land rocks etc it often feels genuinely risky and sometimes is.
In real life looking down from dodgy heights make me feel a bit dizzy so this is probably as close as I will ever get to such extreme sports. It feels refreshing - almost cleansing - and I am guessing Takkar probably needs to periodically wash all the blood off.
I would recommend this activity in game to anyone leap my friends it is good for the soul.
Jumping off huge cliffs.... Onto an enemy.

^^^ Very nice but... looks a bit lucky, pretty sure Takkar was aiming for the first dude there but landed instead squarely upon the second. Good fortune if not for those Izila. Have to look for some opportunities to do that, but with all the HUD including the reticule now turned off in my game aim is a big issue I would probably miss and land at their feet looking sheepish. Man it is so easy to miss in this game with aim assist off and reticule off on PS4 arrows fly over shoulders skin waists etc, etc. There may be no dodge but the NPC's can move cursed fast so many times I was sure it was dead on target but...
Nah, i was targeting the 2nd guy, 'tis why i waited for a second as I knew by the time i got down there the 2nd would be under me, i didn't execute the chain very quickly though, and that opened me to the spear from the 3rd guy...Originally Posted by vic_must_play Go to original post
^^^ I sit suitably corrected. It simply looks the way I mentioned due to where the riticule is when you looked down but you smartly judiged in the speed of the foes movement good leap. Quick enough with the combination of takedowns Imo too as in any landing you walk away from is a good landing... any chained takedown executed successfully ought to be judged a good takedown chain. Again as I am not using the minimap now this sort of activity would probably be a challange. Would be easy not to realise there is a laggard rear guard to the party for the follow up.
Speaking of silly pastimes finding stalking and keeping track of foes without being spotted without the minimap and HUD is a real challenge I obviously need to keep working at it especially in certain wooded areas. When you have to confirm a foes identity visually it slows down your reaction time too. I am still trying not to kill non combatants by accident much more difficult without the white marker. Really makes you think again about how real world friendly fire incidents happen in combat zones.
