Almost got Ghosts on a KTM event? | Forums

I wish I had thought to take a picture... maybe it will happen again....(not really wanting it to...)

So this morning I cycled through the new KTM tracks and ran them all..... then I went off and did other non-KTM tracks, some bunker, etc.... then I went back and tried to run one of my worst KTM tracks in the usual way (ie go to KTM event popup, click on fuel to run specific tracks, etc) . . . .

... imagine my surprise when a popup showed up that said:
"Loading Ghost...." (with arrow rotating in a circle)
("Cool!" I said to myself.. we have KTM ghosts now!)

... imagine my disappointment when it timed out and I got a new popup that said something like:
"Unable to load Ghost" (w cancel button)"
... and when you clicked it you were thrown out of the event to the main map.

... and imagine my disgust when I went and tried again and again...and it tried to load again everytime.. and I got thrown out again everytime.
I COULD NOT RUN ANY OF MY KTM TRACKS TO IMPROVE THEM.

So like any desperate/upset rider, I totally killed the app (on IOS).

When it came back after restarting, all of this was gone, and I could ride my KTM tracks like normal....

... so if you should see this... now you know what to do.

I've had that error a few times now. No ghosts. But you don't need to restart the app. You just need to go to the regular map and play the track you tried to load. Instead of giving you a chance to choose a bike, the KTM will load.

I had this happen last week, but it just kept trying to load the ghost for over a minute and I said screw it and cancelled. It wouldn't load the track at all until I quit and restarted. Hasn't happened again since. It most likely had to do with using the bunker before playing.

Sure You can race 10 ktm tracks racing with a ghost.

yep you can race a normal tier bike with KTM, its hard to explain but on facebook you can find a vid with an explanation how to do it
