So sometimes when I want to start side mission game don't show me where should I go, but give me some clues but I'm not sure if it's a bug or some new missions where you have to find objective using clues you could hear (only once) from a guy. Most of side missions give you hint on map etc. where you have to go and what to kill etc. but in some missions there is just nothing. One guy was talking about that in comment section in one of articles on KOTAKU - Here’s A Good Way To Play Far Cry Primal -

Not just no minimap, but also turn off all the map icons. I’ve found that based on quest descriptions from NPCs and auditory and visual cues, you can play this game without all that navigation stuff and end up having a much more interesting time. For example, one early quest sends you to “the lake” to hunt down people who’ve disrupted your villager’s fishing hole. Using the map, you can see multiple possible “lakes”, so you just head to the one you think most likely. As you go, you’ll hear animals or people and can decide to get involved or not.
I had that mission and I've been close to lake etc. but there was nothing so I don't know if something just doesn't work or I don't get something
too bad if Side Missions doesn't just work and I lost maybe about 5 of them or more
Another problem is
healing animal cost 1 meat and really? game don't care if it's huge bear or those small animals you can have. Everytime you are using only one piece of meat to revive your buddy
Probably when update could come out and fix that I'll be probably finishing playing the game so yeah... but maybe... or next time... reviving of Bear or Sabertooth should cost 2 or 3 slices of meat not just one like for those honeybadgers? (I've got Polish version of the game so yeah...) 1 piece of meat is not a problem when you always have 20/1
ok I think that's all
game is pretty fu*king cool![]()
Exactly, you beat me to it. The one meat it takes to revive them does not fully restore all their health...Originally Posted by Viragoxv535 Go to original post
I also suffered some early quest confusion but decided having to search for the next part is not a bad thing as it adds to a sense of exploration and not always being in control. To me the game is better without the too familiar ubisoft HUD although I sometimes turn it back on again in the caves when I am getting very frustrated trying to find a collectable.
so if you not mentioned those type of missions which I did that mean it's a bug. Yes most or even every of missions have in left corner what you have to do but me and my younger brother, same PS4 different account are having problem with some side missions when NPC is talking to you what have you do but then, there is no hint/clue and stuff like that where to go or what you really have to do. No informations on left corner etc. I think even Hunter vision is not helping. Just script that should activate side mission after monologue of NPC is not working. i think I need to record this or make some screenshots. I also have theory that they are talking about some objective where you have to go and what to do, but game just put another point on your map of starting side mission but not sure,
and then you can finally start this mission in this another point but It's just a theory
you know what is more frustrating? xD when you have to swim in some caves under water and your gamma is 0 because game looks then best and even when you for the first time turning the game on FAR CRY PRIMAL is saying you that best gamma is when logo is barely visible so on my TV it's Gamma 0 but while swiming you have to make gamma 20 or 50 because the only thing you see are sometimes yellow bags in hunter mode. this destroy whole immersion of the game when you have to escape or stuff like that and while swimming you have to pause the game just because you need to change gamma. In FC3 and FC4 that was not a problem because characters had a flashlight
