Hi Ubi,

Although I have been tremendously enjoying FC Primal so far, I was initially very disappointed upon finding out there is no true support for simultaneous use of different control inputs, for example controller analog stick for movement together with mouse for aiming.

This is all the more strange since Far Cry 4 allowed for this kind of setup, and that was one of the reasons I found it such a joy to play. Moreover, almost every first-person game that I have purchased in the last couple of years has allowed for this type multi-input control as well, so there is clearly nothing inherently impossible about it.

FC Primal seems to almost allow for it, in so far as both input types are still visibly recognized in-game, and both work fine so long as players only try to alternate between them. However, they cannot be used simultaneously, as it seems the game treats the two control schemes in a mutually exclusive way, and disables input from one while it registers any input from the other (e.g. moving the mouse does nothing if 360 Controller analog stick is being used, and vice versa.)

I sincerely hope this issue will be addressed at some point, as it is probably at present the single greatest obstacle towards my fully enjoying this excellent-looking game.
