Many of us are having the same issue with the 88500014 error.
Most of us have tried turning off our firewall/virus scanners, adding exceptions and all that sh*t, that we really shouldn't have to touch with a brand new game....I mean, its 2016 isn't it? Not after an immediate fix...I understand these things take time to work through........
But will you please give us some acknowledgment, and some updates. Pweeeeeese.
