    First tried to verify (everything was fine)
    Uninstall reinstall game, still not working
    I did uninstall all Microsoft C++ Redistributable related files
    I did install from all your links the fresh versions
    I tried to start game, was not working
    I rebooted and started the game, still not working
    I verified my game files, no problems detected
    I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, started the game, still not working
    Rebooted, started the game, finally working !

    So IDK what was the true problem, but it's now working.

    For inmformation, I have a GTX 970, latest drivers in date (364.47)

    PS : Uninstalling and reinstalling the game do not screw your save game since it's in sync with UPlay.

    Good luck everyone .

    workaround

    YEs the work around is

    Hi there,

    Welcome to the forums!

    Have you tried verifying the files in the Uplay client?

    Can you also try the following?:

    - Open your Control Panel, uninstall anything which is related to Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable.

    - Once this is done, please download and install the following files :

    Microsoft Visual C++ 2008: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl...ils.aspx?id=29
    Microsoft Visual C++ 2010: http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/downl....aspx?id=14632

    May someone else confirm that uninstalling Visual C++ and/or the game itself the issue disappears?
